About Me
Hi I am a loving mum of two who is a registered childminder, I live in the Broomhouse area of Baillieston/uddingston with my family including our two indoor cats. I am fun and enthusiastic with a great passion for caring and teaching young children. I have 14 years childcare experience, 10 of which working in a nursery setting as well as managerial experience, my roles have consisted of: early years practitioner, baby room senior then deputy manager.
I am very loyal and I treat children in my care with the same love and respect as I do my own. The early years are a crucial time in a child's life and this time should be filled with care, love, fun, and happiness, which is my aim. I for one know how hard it is to separate from your child and finding trustworthy and reliable childcare. I believe that as a childcare provider I should also be supportive and empathetic towards other parents who trust me to care for their precious children,parenthood isn't always easy but it sure is worth it.
While in my care I will provide time and care, assisting you in making your child feel: Safe,Healthy, Achieving, Nurtured, Active, Respected, Responsible and Included.(SHANARRI) These are wellbeing indicators which are from Scotland's Framework 'Getting It Right For Every Child' and 'pre birth to three : Positive Outcomes for Scotland's Children' to ensure professionals in the care sector are able to support children, young people and their families . I love arts and crafts, out door play and imaginative play.
I am also registered with the Scottish childminding association, the care inspectorate,
and information commissioners office.
My Experience
I have experience with newborns upto the age of 14. I am qualified and registered to care for children up to the age of 16. Not only have I got experience of childcare in my work life but throughout my adolescence and adulthood. I have cared for younger family members and friends children, overnight and for short periods. I also have experience working with children who need additional support. I have recently been successful in registering with the local authority to offer free (funded childcare) for eligible two year olds soon to be three to five year olds too.
My Qualifications
PDA childhood Practice, SVQ 2 +3 Children's care learning and development. Paediatric First aid. Food hygiene, safe and secure child protection,managing behaviour,prebirth to three,building ambition I have a PVG.(Protecting Vulnerable Groups)

My Fees
- Babysitting from £7.50 per hour
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour

Kim is an amazing child minder. She looked after both of my babies from babies to nursery. She was an extended part of our family. She taught my kids so much and she cared for them as if they were her own. The peace of mind it gave me, them being in her care, was second to none. Kim is kind, caring, honest and trustworthy, I'm so glad she came into our lives.

Me and my fiancé have been busy with our work/college and Kim always help us with our boy so we can easy carry on our lifestyle. Kim is professional, reliable and look after Matty like her own son. Kids are happy and learn a lot from Kim. Definitely the best babysitter out there.

When I first met Kim I knew she would be perfect for my little boy. She's friendly, warm, welcoming & over all a lovely person.
Each time he arrives she has things planned for them which i really like as you know they are being stimulated. Also gets lots of fresh air too something you don't always get from ur child being on nursery.
I would definitely reccommemd Kim as she is someone who loves their job and it really shows. I always feel at ease when I leave my son.
