About Me
My name is Hazel and I am a registered childminder who has been working in childcare settings for the last eight years. I have a large amount of experience working with children and a thorough understanding and practice of the Early Years curriculum. My training includes a BA (hon) Early years Teaching and Learning degree, Forest School Training, alongside attending paediatric first aid and council workshops and updates for this sector. I love working with children and supporting them to achieve, explore, celebrate and learn in an environment that is caring and caters for individual needs. I have two children, a three year old boy and a nine year old girl. We also have four bantum hens and two goldfish.
My Experience
Before becoming a childminder I worked mainly in nursery settings, most recently on a part time basis with the two to four year age group. Prior to this I was Room leader for the 0 to two year age group within a nursery rated outstanding by Ofsted. I have also worked as a nanny in New Zealand.
