Outstanding childminder

My 2 year old has been going to Maryam since May 2025 and I would highly recommend her. Maryam clearly loves children and she is so kind and caring with them. Everyday that my son goes to Maryam's house I am happy in the knowledge that he is going to have a fun and varied day, whether it be a trip to the park, library or children's group, Maryam make sure the kids get out somewhere everyday. She also provides fun activities at home, such as painting, making things and playing with toys. The kids mark all the occasions/events throughout the year, for example Halloween parties and special trips out for the end of term (Ruislip lido).

My son has learnt a lot with Maryam (such as counting, memorising stories) and he eats so well at her house. He always comes home happy and excited to tell me about his day. I think it's important for the parent to get on well with the childminder too, and with Maryam I feel that we have a great relationship. Maryam is so kind and she has great communication. She sends photos of my son throughout the week and always lets me know how he's been getting on.

Maryam often helps us out with extra hours if we need them and she does not overcharge parents (i.e. blanket 8-6pm charges when you don't need it!) Maryam has also looked after my 5 year old a few times during school holidays and she always has positive things to say about my children, which I think says a lot about her. I really feel that Maryam cares about the children and looks after them very well.

Outstanding!!!

My son Frankie attended Maryam's home childminding for a year when he was 2 years old, 4 days a week and occasionally now he does extra days during half terms.

I have been extremely happy with the care Frankie has received, and the great progress he made whilst in Maryam’s care. Maryam’s home is always welcoming, clean and well organised and Frankie had great fun playing with all the toys available and with the other children in her care. Beyond all this, it is Maryam’s warm and friendly but no nonsense approach which sets her apart from other childminders.

She provides a wide, fun range of activities including plenty of outdoor exercise. I know Frankie enjoyed sand and water play, drawing and sticking, reading and puzzles as well as outings to the park, to the library, trips to feed the ducks and she also arranged a trip to ruislip lido and all parents were also invited. He also done activities and made cards for different celebrations for example Christmas, Mother's day, Eid, Father's day, etc.

Frankie was very attached to me when he started at Maryam's home and found it difficult separating from me when i dropped him off but maryam worked with me to help him settle in and kept me upto date with how he was during the day and he settled in quickly and i felt at ease. Frankie wasn't very social either at the beginning but Maryam done activities to help him interact with others and give him confidence to be in a small group. He also has speech and language delay but Maryam has always helped and support him with this, which gives me reassurance that she is able to understand his wants and needs.

If Frankie wasn't feeling well or hurt if he himself I know that he feels happy to be comforted by her and I am confident that she can administer either first aid or medication following all the correct procedures and completing the necessary records to ensure his health and safety.

Although I provided Frankie's lunch each day Maryam still provided healthy snacks such as fruit and rice cakes if he was exceptionally hungry or keen to eat what the other children were eating. Maryam ensures good personal hygiene by encouraging all the children to wash their hands before eating and after using the toilet.

At pick up time Maryam would tell me what Frankie has done each day for example what he has eaten, how long he has slept and all his activities. This helps me to feel involved with his care and that I can talk to him about his day.

All in all I am thoroughly happy with the level of care Frankie received and continues to receive. I’m certain that being in such a positive and happy environment has helped him develop into a confident and self assured little boy who is now thriving in his reception class.

I would absolutely recommend Maryam as a great and reliable childminder.

Absolutely amazing

I was really reluctant to leave my 7 months old baby at the childcare full time . My worries went away after the first day my son spent at Maryam's house !

She's treats him as if he was her own baby . She takes him places, makes sure he has variety of educational toys and tries new foods with him.

He's only been with her a month and I can tell he has developed so much ! I couldn't have wished for anyone better .
