I am a qualified primary school teacher, as well as an experienced Outreach Worker.
I am available from June 2022 for Mother's Help roles or for sole charge Nanny roles - but please note that I am still in the process of registering with Ofsted (this is a voluntary process for nannies).
I am also immediately available for tutoring.
I am fully DBS checked, and have a full clean driving licence and my own vehicle.
I am 32 years old and enjoy making, doing, reading and being in the outdoors.
My Experience
I have a wealth of experience in childcare, ranging from babysitting, to working in a nursery school, to au pairing in Greece and the UK, as well as teaching and facilitating groups for under 5s as an Outreach Worker. I have experience with children aged 6 months to 13 years (sole care from 8 months).
Babysitting - ages 8 months to 13 years, including twins (2004 onwards)
Nursery assistant - ages 6 months to 5 years (February to June 2008)
Au pairing in Greece and the UK - ages 18 months to 10 years (2008 and 2009)
Volunteer SEND nursery assistant (2017) - ages 2 years to 5 years
Volunteer Guider with the Brownies (2017) - ages 7 years to 10 years
Teaching (2017 - 2020) - ages 4 years to 11 years
Outreach Worker and group facilitator (2020 - 2022) - ages 0 years to 5 years
Nanny (2022-2023) - ages newborn to 5 years
I qualified as a teacher in 2018 (having taught for an additional full year during training), and have primarily taught in the Early Years/Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1, though I have experience teaching in all year groups (Rec - Y6).
