Jo is an outstanding childminder. She has looked after our 2 year old at short notice with so much care and thoughtfulness. Jo consistently went above and beyond from the very beginning to make our son feel at home, happy and safe with her at her home. Jo also made us feel very confident that our son was being well looked after and supporting his development. Jo was an excellent communicator with ourselves about how our son was doing on a daily basis and quick to let us know if there were any issues or concerns. Jo puts in an incredible amount of effort into activities for the children to make it personal and engaging for them. It is clear at the end of the day how much son our son has enjoyed his time with Jo. He is always smiling at the end of the day and is talking about her on his way home. We are so grateful that we were lucky enough to have Jo care for our son at such short notice when we were in need of childcare.

This review is well overdue.
Jolene first looked after my son while my current childminder was on holiday in an emergency ( bad planning on my part) anyway Jolene was happy to help me out and she already knew my son through toddler groups he went to with his childminder.
Then when he was starting school she became our childminder for after school. Although it was only for a few months ( I left my job as was moving soon) she was amazing with him and he loved her.
She even got him to try different foods.
She worked around our schedule as much as she could and understood unseen commuting issues.
Even after we left her care we would see her and her mum around and they would always be friendly and asking how the move was going.

Jo is absolutely fantastic, she has had my daughter since she was 6 months old and she is now 2, she is friendly and welcoming always makes sure the child's needs are met, provides healthy meals and snacks. Lots of activity's , day trips out to toddler groups. Would highly recommend.

Jo is absolutely fantastic, always would recommend. Takes children out to play groups, farms and other places, she has a lovely setting for children/babies to explore and play, lovely home cooked meals, really caring and always keeps you up to date with anything you need to know. My daughter loves going.

My little one started with Jo at 9 months old, i was terrified of “leaving” him and mum guilt was at the highest level. Jo has always reassured me, she’s kept me updated throughout the day, sent me pictures or messages to let me know how he is doing. It’s still hard for me to drop him off in the morning but I see he is so happy, he’s settled in so well and I know he gets the best care and lots of cuddles.
My little one gets to go to lots of activities, play groups, outings and he is developing great in Jo’s care.
Jo has always followed his routine in terms of bottles and naps and I couldn’t be more grateful to her. I can honestly say she’s become an extended member of our family.

My 4 year old daughter is often shy with new people and places, after the first day she said she loved Jo and couldn't wait to come back the next day.
Jo regularly takes the kids out to the local parks and other interesting places. I recommend her very highly

Jo looked after our daughter Clara for two and a half weeks while our regular childminder was away.
I couldn't have been happier with how things have worked out. Jo and her mum have been wonderful with Clara, who settled really quickly and made friends with the other children at the setting.
Jo has been out and about with Clara most days, going to local playgroups, parks and forest school. Clara also enjoyed playing outside in the garden, reading books, dressing up and painting.
We have been kept up-to-date everyday, with photos and a detailed daily diary.
Overall it's been brilliant and we will certainly use Jo again if our regular childminder is not available in future.

Our son was looked after by Jo in a temporary setting due to our regular childminder being unavailable for a couple of weeks.
Jo was able to form a quick bond with our son and he settled very quickly and has enjoyed his few weeks in her setting immensely.
We will be going full time with Jo in August as our son settled so well. Highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Jo enough as a childminder. From the moment we met her, she put us at ease with her warm and friendly personality. She truly cares about the children in her care and goes above and beyond to ensure they are happy, safe and well-cared for.
Both our children have had such positive experience and come home happy and excited to share all the fun activities they did that day. Jo creates a welcoming and nurturing environment that promotes learning and development in a fun and engaging way.
Jo is also great at communicating with us as parents. She keeps us informed about the activities the children are doing and as well as any concerns or issues that arise. She is always available to answer any questions we may have and is very accommodating when it comes to scheduling.
We would recommend her to anyone in need of a caring and reliable childminder. Thank you, Jo, for all that you do!
