About Me
Hello, my name is Rachael. I am 41 years old and hold an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare and Education.
I have over 14 years of experience as an Ofsted-registered Childminder where I cared for 63 children and, for the past 8 years, have worked as an Ofsted-registered Nanny. During my career, I have cared for children from birth through to 15 years of age, including extensive experience with newborns.
I have supported five different families with twins, working as a Night Nanny/day nanny and providing sole charge care from as early as the day after birth, allowing parents to rest and recover.
I also have experience working with children with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and cerebral palsy. I have experience and confident in carrying out specialist care routines such as PEG feeding and colostomy care.
I hold a valid First Aid certificate, an enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service, and Public Liability Insurance. As an Ofsted-registered nanny, families may be eligible for assistance with childcare costs through Universal Credit. I am also self-employed.
I am happy to care for pets and am very comfortable around animals. I have a French Bulldog named Ronnie and have owned a variety of pets over the years.
I pride myself on being reliable, honest, friendly, and caring, and I am dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment for the children in my care.

My Experience
I have been an ofsted registered childminder for 14 years, having giving up now, I have become a registered nanny.
(as I am registered, parents are able to claim help with child-care costs through Universal Credit)
When i first started out i went to college and got NVQ2 in childcare and education. After college i worked as a mothers help for a new mum of twin girls ages 2 months.
After that i worked for a lovely family as a private nanny, looking after their 2 children.
I have had the privalige of attending the birth of my friends baby boy.

I am an Auntie 5 times over and have an active role in their lives.
I also do wedding day childcare, taking care of your little ones at your wedding venue or in the hotel room.
