Personal statement;
I’m looking forward to returning to work . After a short break from parenting, home helper,after school care and housekeeper. As a parent I
have developed lots of new skills to care for young children, for example, communicating, planning
and organising. I’m highly motivated, work well as part of a team as well as on my own and have a caring personality with
some excellent work experience gained by volunteering at the local Home-start. I’m now looking for
a position in social care, housekeeper,after school care to develop a career.

• Successfully had 4 years experience with a great family with 4 children, currently under the age of 5.
• Received personal thanks from a young mother for helping her to cope and to see a clearer future.
Experience

Home visiting volunteer, Home-start (2008 – 2011)
• Responsible for visiting families at home who are in need of some support.
• Listen to individuals’ needs and assess how I can help them and improve their situation.
• Provide a sympathetic ear, a shoulder to cry on and someone to laugh with.
• Provide an extra pair of hands to help people cope with everyday parenting situations, or practical
help with activities like playing or reading stories.
Also looked after, cared for a disabled young man at this time for almost 2 years in Basildon to help him get back into his every day life routine
after a nasty accident he had been involved in , and was disabled for quite a long while. I therefore, helped cook,clean, make beds
and assisted to him when he was unable to cope with difficulties in everyday life, and looking after his young son who currently lived with him at this time, I was his full time carer and still remain good
friends from this day on, and has recommended me to other families and businesses for personal assistant and carer work.

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)

Usually the going rate salary would be around 15 to 20 pound an hour, or an agreement of weekly payment arranged by myself and the clients .
