About Me
Hello! I'm a qualified teacher (QTS), experienced SEND specialist and mum, based in Weston-super-Mare.
I offer warm, reliable and engaging childcare, with particular experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety and additional learning needs.

I hold a full UK driving licence, although I don't currently have my own car.

My Experience
I have over 20 years of experience in teaching, tutoring, home education and supporting children and young people with a wide range of individual needs.
My background includes mainstream teaching, specialist SEND provision, one-to-one support, small-group learning and over 10 years of home education experience.
I currently work as an SEMH Lead Specialist and Nurture Lead within a secondary school, supporting children with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties and other additional needs.
I have extensive experience developing trusting relationships with children, supporting emotional wellbeing, building confidence and independence, and adapting activities to suit different developmental stages and learning styles.
I particularly enjoy creative and practical activities, including arts and crafts, sculpture, outdoor learning, nature exploration, cooking and child-led projects. I also have experience delivering Forest School sessions.
My experience includes working closely with parents and families, establishing consistent routines, supporting children who struggle with transitions and providing calm, nurturing environments.
I am particularly interested in SEND-specialist nannying, home education support, after-school care and creative childcare, although I am equally happy supporting children without additional needs.
