My Experience

Art is my passion and I trained and worked as an Art Teacher in secondary education and have worked in both Primary and Secondary schools since then.
For the last 10 years, I have tutored students in KS2,3 English, Maths, Science and Art and I run revision sessions for KS4.
I specialise in working with SEN and SEMH students - teaching them in active and creative ways tailored to their needs. Alongside teaching the curriculum, I incorporate the tools to navigate their neurodivergence more easily.
This understanding includes Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, ADHD, Autism, OCD, PDA, and Delayed Processing Disorder.
I am the Lead Student Mentor in a Nurture Hub in a secondary school where I teach and mentor students in English, Maths and Art. I tailor their curriculum to address their individual SEMH needs.
During the holidays, I teach Art in summer schools and I am an Ofsted Registered Nanny.
