About Me
I am an ofsted registered childminder, I have 3 of my own children who are in full time education. I love working with children and have a lot of experience as my previous history is working in primary schools, day nurseries and crèche work. I have a lovely childminding setting, it is a nursery setting with a warm homely feel. A childminding setting with all resources. I can also provide halal food and vegetarian and cater for all dietary requirements .I cater for every individual needs.I can look after children in all school holidays I am available throughout the whole year.I provide a holiday club for summer holidays and other holidays. I have just had my second OFSTED Inspection and have been rated extremely GOOD heading towards OUTSTANDING ! Health and Hygiene is crucial, I have been awarded 4 stars out of 5 for Food Hygiene. I am registered with the Food standards Agency.
Registered with Kirklees for Out of school clubs this involves Offering healthy cooked homemade meals and snacks , daily exercise and Trips with fun activities , cooking and baking .
My Experience
I have previous history of working in primary schools, 10 years experience in crèche, nurseries and schools. Enjoyed every bit! I am passionate in what I do and I love being around children .
My Qualifications
I have done NVQ level 2 in Childcare, also NVQ level 3 in Literacy And Numeracy Support Assistants. My next goal is to work towards NVQ level 4 in Childcare and Management . I have had my second inspection recently and they have graded me as GOOD.I have completed my level 3 diploma in childcare, and now interested in starting the level 4 diploma in management . I have first aid, I can also provide free funding for 2yr old and 3,4 y r olds,
15 and 30 hours of free early education for your child, and provide flexible hours over 5 days ! I have a level 2 in Food Hygiene. Graded 4/5 ??
My Availability
I am registered to provide overnight care, I am available during the day from 7.30 till 6pm. Evening care can be arranged if needed. Weekend care can be arranged. Can do flexible hours and provide emergency care.
I am offering free funding 15 ,30 hours of early education childcare and can provide that over a 2 day or 3 day period. please contact me for january , april and september places for your child. I provide pick up and drop off from Ashbrow school , Lindley juniors school and Birkby infants and junior school all hd2 areas please get in touch with me for more information .

Our daughter currently goes to shasta and she's amazing, she's teaching our girl so much, makes amazing food to our preference, takes her out most days and always doing activities with her. Our daughter and us adore her and her family.

Shasta has looked after my 3 boys for 8 years now. She has a dedicated childcare annexe attached to her home, which is spacious and well resourced (especially for little ones.) She has 3 boys and they all get on so well with mine. She is friendly, gentle and relaxed with the boys (even though they’re boisterous and loud at times) and they feel comfortable and secure there. They really enjoy the occasional trips to the zone or the park. Currently they are with her two days after school but two out of the three were with her for 3 full days a week until they began school. She follows the early years foundation stage curriculum and during these early years will provide activities to meet their needs and interests and will share their progress. Shasta is always flexible and takes the time to discuss how things have gone each day. She is able to provide individualised care as she really gets to know the children and our wishes as parents. My boys have always felt comfortable and cared for here- a home away from home.

My son has been going to Tinkerbells for the last few years now & im very happy with the service Shaastha has provided.
My son has also stayed overnight several times & I have felt at complete ease leaving him in her care as i know he will be well looked after & that he most importantantly will be safe secure & happy in this setting.
As I'm a single parent shaastha has on many occasions gone above and beyond to help me when I've been stuck in traffic by having him longer.
I highly recommend Tinkerbells to every parent, Shaastha provides an excellent service & in a warm caring environment with a variety of toys and activities & a lovely large garden for children to play in.
Shaastha herself is a very warm kind and a playful woman which is very important to have these qualities when working with young children which gives them a sense of security.
My son is a fussy eater so shaastha is very accommodating to his diet making sure he has something to eat which he will enjoy & by making him something different to other children.
I'm happy I found shaastha and feel reasured with the care she provides my son. I highly recommend her definitely 5*.
