About Me
I am currently a Home Approved Childcarer with the Belfast Trust. I am qualified to NNEB Level and have a valid paediatric First Aid certificate. I am a professional, discreet and very experienced nanny with excellent references from all previous childcare positions held. As a nanny, you have to keep small minds busy so I enjoy arts and crafts, cooking and outdoor trips to the local toddler groups, parks and further afield on sunny days. I am happy to help out with light housework and cooking a family meal each evening. I am also happy to provide evening or weekend babysitting if available.
My Experience
I have been in Childcare for over 20 years, working in a variety of settings. I was a Nursery Manager in Greater Belfast for almost 7 years and have many years experience as a Nanny, working with families with children aged from newborn to teenagers. I am experienced with weaning, potty training and all aspects of childcare, including supporting families in encouraging positive play and behaviours. I am also an experienced night nanny, helping newborns into a settled sleeping/eating pattern. I am a mum of two lovely children, who go to school in the South Belfast area.
I can provide excellent references from my current role and all previous positions on request.
My Qualifications
I have the NNEB qualification and I also hold a current Paediatric First Aid (completed March 2021), Child Protection certificate (completed January 2018) Epi Pen and Anaphylaxis Training (completed Sept 2017) and a recent Access NI Police Check (completed January 2023). I am also registered as a Home Approved Childcarer with the Belfast Trust. I have a clean and current driving license and my own car.
My Availability
I’m available all day Monday and Friday afternoon. I can also offer evening and weekend babysitting.
