About Me
Hi i'm Jo and I live in Epping with my three daughters.
I can fully appreciate as a parent how important it is to have good quality childcare, therefore it is my ethos as a childminder to maintain a consistent high standards of care in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and is inspired to become a confident, curious and lifelong learner.
I live a short distance from Epping primary school, the high st, local nurseries,
and other local amenities, which include the library, sports centre, and parks. Epping tube station is about a 15-minute walk from my home.
My child friendly home has ample room to accommodate children of all ages. Children have access to all the areas downstairs which include, toilet facilities, a playroom, lounge and a spacious open planned kitchen area which enables full interaction and supervision as a childminder. There is a large secure rear garden providing ample outdoor space with play facilities such as, swings and slides, ride on toys, a playhouse and children can interact with the chickens in their coop.
My Experience
I registered with ofsted in Jan 2010 and have continuously received a grading of good in my inspections. My most recent inspection was December 2025.
I have experience looking after children from birth upwards.
I can provide references from parents that have used my services.
My Qualifications
I am a member of PACEY (Professional Association For Childcare And Early Years).
I undertake first aid training every 3 years as required by Ofsted and have completed courses in The Early Years Foundation Stages, Safegaurding Children, Unit 1 childcare and food safey.
My Availability
Monday to Thursday
My hours are from 7.30 am until 6.00 pm.
I can drop off and collect from Epping Primary School and local nurseries, playgroups and can provide care during school holiday times.
I can care for children from birth upwards including over 8's.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
