My name is Nicola Zammit, I live with my 2 daugthers aged 15 and 7.
I am a qualified childminder and I am registered with Ofsted. I have a GOOD rating from Ofsted. I have always loved working with children. I am a fun, caring and loving person who will make sure your child is very happy whilst in my care. While working with your children my aim is to make them feel welcomed into my home and to provide a happy and comforting atmosphere, This will make them feel included and happy to take part within all activites that I provide throughout the day. I will take them out to parks, farms, museums and to the local play groups. I will work to your childs individual needs with stimulating games and activities. All the while I will make sure that they are having plenty of fun. I will also provide healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks free of charge.
I will keep a dairy so parents will be fully informed on how their children are getting on whilst in my care.
You will not be disappointed in my service if you was to leave your children in my care. I aim to make sure the children have LOTS OF FUN while LEARNING and getting them ready for school.
My Experience
I have looked after a numerous amount of children from 7 months old to 12 years old. I have had wonderful working relationships with the parents and the children I have previously looked after and can provide references. Children are very happy in my care as we do a lots of fun activities and I also take them out rain or shine.
I regularly take care of children from my daughters school for play dates and over night care and they have even wrote their own references so I can show parents when I meet them.
I have references from parents that you are more then welcome to contact if you wish. They consist of teacher assistants, parents from my daughters school, children that I have taken care of and children that I also have taken care of.
My Qualifications
Deploma in childcare Unit CYPOP 5.
Paediatric First Aid
HABC Level 2 award in food safety in catering. (QCF)
Hey Training for childminders (Healthy Eating for Children)
Food Hygiene Rating from the Food Standards Agency is 5 star rating
Safeguarding Children and Child Protection course
DBS check
My Availability
Monday to Thursday from 8.00am to 6.00pm.
Please note that these are the hours I work from and till as time with my family is also needed.
I am able to do school drop offs and pick ups.
If you are interested in my services please contact me as I am unable to contact parents.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
My fees included breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks through out the day but a small additional fee per week will be charged if you would like me to cook dinner for them.
My Local Schools

Well where do I begin! After my son had his settling in period it was finally time for me to go back to work and although very anxious being a first time mum Nicola was a gem! She is very flexible and took excellent care of my son and having gone back to work when he was just 8 months I couldn't have asked for a better person! She goes that extra mile to make sure they are looked after and in good hands!The reassurance she gives is always what I needed leaving my son! She is a real natural and unfortunately due to being made redundant I had to leave! However we still keep in touch to this day and it's going to be hard to replace her once I do go back to work again! I also loved the portfolio/keepsake she made for my son when he left full of pictures and captions of all the fun times he had with her! :) xx

Not only did I have the pleasure to look after Keelys son I had to pleasure to work with a wonderful parent who I am now lucky enough to keep in contact with after working together. It is really unfortunate that I can not take Miller back on due to going on maternity leave in the next few months. Otherwise I would of loved to of had him back in my care. Thankfully I still get to see him from time to time when we meet up. Xx
I have just finished the settling in period with Nicola and my son and must say I am VERY pleased! Nicola has been very thorough about how she works, activities she does with the kids and I even went to one of the play groups with her which my son loved. She is very organised and has a lovely child friendly home. I feel very confident she will take good care of my son and look forward to him starting with her. Highly recommend! :)
