I love children, and have an 9 year old and a 3 year old and I've spent 12 years in childcare.
I enjoy cooking, baking and keeping myself and my boys busy, I enjoy being outdoors and exploring new places,0 while learning and having fun.
I'm always up for a challenge, be it trying out a new recipe or helping to build an ikea flat pack, I love to be helpful where I can.
I have been looking after children since I was a teenager and have always had wonderful relationships with them and their families and creating bonds that last beyond my time with them.
I have made lovely friendships that will last a lifetime.
My Experience
I started working in childcare March 2012,
I worked in a nursery until August 2015.
I then began nannying in September 2015 and in December 2017 I went back to a full time day nursery to help find a suitable routine for my son, but then finally went back to nannying in August 2018 as I feel it's a better fit for myself.
I am happy to muck in and help around the house to lighten the load as I go.
Also having my own boys has been a new experience with newborns, and a fun one.
My youngest son would accompany me on weekday jobs.

I've been through two ofsted inspections and gained outstanding within a nursery both times.
And I believe I have learnt a lot just from working in a nursery.

Emily was quick to respond to my cry for help when my sitter had to cancel Thursday morning. She was great with my 1.5 year son who took to her quite well. She also took him around to the local garden centre and aquarium to keep him entertained during the cold, damn weather
I would highly recommend her.

Emily was my children’s nanny for 2 years and we would HIGHLY recommend her! I have 2 daughters and Emily started working for us when they were 10 and 12. They adore Emily! She’s fun, caring and chatty and they miss her so much. Emily was also helpful and not precious about things. She’s straight talking and organised. The kids came first but she also helped with running errands and all sorts of jobs to help me out as a working mum. She likes to be busy and will find things to do. She’s great at planning days out, and cost conscious too. I’ve had quite a few nannies/au pairs over the years and Emily was definitely the best. She would suit a busy, kind, fun family with boys or girls. FYI the only reason she’s no longer with us is because the girls are now getting older and both at secondary schools with transport laid on.

Emily Ball has been working for me for the past 5 months on Friday's since my son was 2 months as I found it a challenge managing the care of him and my daughter who was a year and a half at the time.
My children love Emily and are excited to see her on Friday's. Given her experience working at a nursery she has great ideas for games, activities and craft projects to do with my daughter.
It's also been beneficial that she has a son the same age as my daughter as she is present on developmental milestones and knows the challenges faced with caring for younger children.
I would recommend Emily for those that are looking for a nanny.

We've had the pleasure of having Emily help us with Micah and Annie-Rose now for a number of months. We would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for the best care for their little darlings.

Emily has been babysitting for my 2 young boys for over a year now and she has consistently provided exceptional care. She has continued to engage with my extremely shy 6 year old and established a relationship which most childcare workers are unable to do. Every time I leave my home I am extremely confident that my children are left with a capable, reliable and caring babysitter who will run a firm yet loving household. I would love to recommend Emily to anyone who is looking for a confident and experienced caregiver.
