My Experience
I am an Ofsted registered childminder, now registered for school aged children providing before and after school care and school holidays, previously cared for EYFS children for 25 years, I have a vast experience caring for all ages of children, I offer a caring fun environment offering lots of art and craft activities both child and adult led, games, homework and reading help, I have a chill out corner for over stimulated children after a busy day at school, I work to the Wraparound Quality Framework

My Availability
I am open from 7am-9am after school 3pm-6pm earlier and later times to be discussed but can accommodate
School holidays cover also provided
I have experience of working with children with autism and adhd.
School pick -ups and drop-offs at Knoplaw primary and Milecastle primary
My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
i charge £5 per child per hour
this includes myself supplying snacks after school and a simple breakfast if required before school
meals and sundries to be provided by parents
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Knop Law Primary School
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Milecastle Primary School

I found Karen after a bad nursery experience. I was nervous about trying a childminder but as soon as I met Karen my reservations eased and what's more, my daughter's reaction to Karen made any worries disappear. She provides a safe, secure environment. She is reliable and flexible and has helped me out whenever she can which I always appreciate. My daughter is always happy to go to Karen's and talks fondly off her and her family. I intend to continue using Karen's services throughout my daughter's primary school years. I count myself lucky to have found her.

karen has been my childminder for many years she's amazing with my children one has special needs and she has been there for him from being a baby and help loads if you want someone who will care and treat you children like there own Karen is the right person for you
