About Me
I have been nannying since I was 18 and babysitting for years before that. I took a Law degree with the intention of becoming a solicitor but worked as a nanny throughout my gap year and whilst taking my degree. I loved studying but being a solicitor never stood a chance! I chose not to go on to law school and I've been a nanny ever since. I like a job that I never dread getting up in the morning for. For me, that is childcare. I like to believe I'm good with children because I always try to empathise with them and never patronise. I thrive from giving a child peace of mind and happiness within their own home and being a part of their development. Over the years, I have learnt how to take care of a whole household and really enjoy fitting in wherever I am needed. I genuinely enjoy what I do which I think reflects in my style of childcare.
I currently work after-school Mon-Thur for a family I have been with for over five years. While I would love to find work that would complement my current hours, I am also looking for full-time work and would hope to give my current family as much notice as possible.
I take a different exercise class after work every evening which usually start around 7pm. These are very important to me and I would love to continue so sadly I am not available late into the evenings aside from prearranged babysitting/overtime. Of course I appreciate that occasionally unexpected late finishes are inevitable as a nanny and my trainer is very understanding of this :)

Fully Paediatric First Aid and First Aid trained (renewed September 2024).
Full, clean driving license that I have had for 24 years.
Own car and fully comprehensive insurance including business use.
DBS Enhanced Disclosure including update and barring service.

My Availability
Currently working Mon-Thur 2pm-6.30pm.
Available mornings, all day Fridays and evening/weekend babysitting OR 3-5 full days.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £18.50 per hour (gross)
ALL NEGOTIABLE ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS
Nannying Fees:
Up to 40 hours per week: £19/hour gross
40+ hours: £18.50/hour gross
Babysitting/ad hoc nannying Fees:
Evening rate (6pm to midnight): £15.00 per hour Sunday-Friday and £16.00 per hour Saturday
Day rate: £19 per hour (7am to 6pm)
Overnight/proxy parenting charged on an individual basis.
