About Me
At the moment I am looking for babysitting work or a part time nanny position, I have over 10 years of experience working with children right from newborn up to the age of 16. I've worked at various settings such as day nurseries, Crèche’s, Playgroups, schools including special needs schools and many more, I also have over 10 years experience working as a nanny. I'm looking for a position with a caring and welcoming family. I have graduated from university where I have completed my BA honours degree in early years and also gained my early years teachers status. I am ofsted registered, first aid trained & hold a current enhanced DBS.
My Experience
I completed a 3 year placement where i worked at a catholic school working with infants from nursery to year 2. I have also worked alongside agencies over the years caring for children from newborn - 12 years in different settings from nurseries, sure starts, schools, private settings etc. I also worked in a private day nursery for 2 years where I was a key worker in the under 2's room and then with toddlers and pre-school children after this I continued to progress into being a full time nanny. I have done before & after school care, trips out & attending various activities, holiday work, night nanny roles, newborn care and general light household duties. I've been nannying for 10+ years with the sole care of children of all ages and really enjoy it! I’ve met some amazing families along the way.
My Qualifications
I completed my early years teacher status in January 2015 and also gained my BA honours degree in early years in Feb 2015. I also have a current enhanced DBS.
My Availability
Looking for a part time nanny position or babysitting work. I have a full uk driving license and access to my own car so i'm able to travel to and from work and also ideal for picking or dropping children to school, taking to activities etc. Also ofsted registered and I have my relevant safeguarding and first aid certificates.

Emily is a kind, capable and caring nanny. Since the moment we met her, we knew she'd be great with our baby boy, George.
She's patient, calm and really receptive to George's needs. She sings nursery rhymes, makes George laugh and looks after him like he's her own.
We can't recommend Emily high enough for your childcare needs. We intend to stick with her for the long foreseeable, and her high degree of flexibility is also greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your ongoing support Emily :)

emily came over to meet me and my daughter H for the first time.
H seem very comfortable with emily which was expected since emily is a very friendly and positive person :)
emily looked after H whilst i went on a night out for my birthday. she woke up once and she put her back to bed no problem (H confirmed the next morning! Haha) Emily replied immediately whenever i texted her showing how responsible and sensible she is! I trust her and will definitely be contact her again whenever i need someone to babysit H. xx

Let me start by saying I'm one of those fussy moms who doesnt like leaving her child with anyone and i've always been dubious of nannys and childminders. However Emily has blown me away and completely changed my mind. My daughter is 7 years old and Emily is brilliant with her. She picks her up from school, does her home work, plays games with her, makes her meals and gets her ready for bed etc. She has even encouraged her to start trying a range of new foods (which is no easy feat). Emily is friendly, approachable, warm and caring but is resilient enough to handle a tantrum. My little girl loves having her around and feel very comfortable in her presence. Emily is really reliable, flexible and I always come back to a tidy home. I can't speak highly enough of her, In all honesty I don't even want to say how fantastic she is just in case someone steals her haha!

Emily is working as an aba tutor with my 3.5 year old daughter. She has paired with my daughter so well and my daughter absolutely adores her. Emily is amazing and my daughter has made so much progress in just a few sessions with Emily. She is very professional, punctual and committed to her role. I would highly recommend Emily and cannot thank her enough for all her hard work with my daughter.

Emily was a wonderful babysitter for my 3 month old. First time we were leaving our baby and Emily was very friendly and great with her.
We would recommend to anyone, lovely girl.
