Trina has looked after my little girl for just over 2 years. I that time Trina has helped her flourish helping her learn numbers, letters and grow her vocabulary. Trina takes the children out each day whether it be to the farm, park, scooter park or even just playing in the garden the children are always outside.
Trina has been very patient with my daughters fussy eating and has helped her try more foods. She supported her brilliantly through her natural development, helping with her walking, potty training and building her confidence so she can go on to preschool.
Trina is an all round star and I know my little girl will miss her emensely.

My daughter has been with Trina for 2 years and has absolutely loved going there. Trina takes the children out everyday and even to the farm and sports days which my daughter has really enjoyed! She has even built a log cabin in her garden for the children to play in. Trina helps the children with their fine motor skills and works with them individually to write letters and trace things which will prepare them for school. Trina has been extremely accommodating with my early starts and sometimes late finishes with work which has made being a single parent less stressful. Trina is an overall lovely person and is so great with the children! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone! My daughter will really miss her when she goes to school!

I am soo lucky to have found such a caring and kind person to look after both my young children. I was let down by a previous childminder and Trina was just amazing in accommodating my childminding needs.
I was nervous about leaving my young baby, but the way Trina responded with the children in her care and how happy they were, I knew I had found the perfect match.
Trina has looked after my young baby since she was 5 weeks old. My daughter has on going health issues and Trina has supported me through this and has even helped with my daughter feeding difficulties she was having.
Trina now looks after both my children, my daughter who is now 9 months old and my son who is now 3. Both my children love going to her home and my son does not want to leave which is a good sign. He enjoys all the education games and activities Trina provides for the children in her home.
Trina is one in a million and the only childminder I would have look after my children. I am so happy to have found her.

We are so glad we found Trina, the positive reviews on this site are to be believed. We were in the process of moving house when we contacted Trina, and she was very understanding with the uncertainties that come along with moving to a new area.
Our little girl was 13 months when she started, and she had the typical separation anxiety at the beginning along with two molars cutting through at once. Trina did a marvellous job of settling in our child and it is safe to say she loves going now! The children do lots of different activities during the day, and our daughter is always clean, well fed and happy when we pick her up. We were pleased that Trina was open to using reusable nappies and wipes and fitted them perfectly from the start!
We will really miss you Trina, thank you for everything!

Trina had been taking care of our two sons for the past 6 years. We were lucky to find her when our oldest son was 1 and we never looked back. When we had our youngest, Trina was an obvious choice.
She is so warm, smiley and always with a positive attitude, children warm to her really fast. She has an extensive knowledge of child development and continues to expand on this during her evening classes and webinars. I admire her energy and positivity.
We have always felt that she took time to get to know our boys personally, as individuals and adapted her days to ensure they settle in well. No need to say that it took no time at all for them to feel safe there, us too.
She follows EYFS when planning activities and ensures that they are fun and exciting, yet educational. She takes children out for day trips and cooks healthy meals. Her garden is an outdoor heaven, our son still talks about the bouncy castle she once hired for the children.
Both of our sons are now in the school settings but she is still very flexible with ad hoc childcare, babysitting and weekends. During the lockdown, she was our rock. She followed all government guidance but somehow managed to make it stress free for us and children.
She communicates promptly any feedback or concerns and keeps the record of the learning progress for each child. She follows the routine of each child and builds a great rapport with all parents. She is professional but also very friendly and warm. Her positivity and calmness really stand out and I think that is the reason children love her.
We really cannot recommend her highly enough. She is an absolute star.

My 2 girls (10 months and 4) have been going to Trina since the start of the year, when our previous childminder had to shut due to Covid. We were getting overwhelmed with work and desperately needed someone to help. We were inundated with replies when I posted my request but I am 100% convinced I chose the best option!
She lives in a nice quiet area, with plenty of parking space right near her house for dropoffs and pickups.
Both girls have settled so well there, even though the youngest had barely seen anyone other than immediate family when she started going. Dropping her off she is so excited to see Trina, and I know both are really well looked after there. My oldest has come on so well with her writing, numbers and letters since going there and they go on lots of outings to various parks, to feed the ducks etc. The older children do a large variety of different activities and crafts when there, and I know now things are starting to reopen she has a lot more fun trips planned.
She has also been really flexible when we’ve needed to swap hours around and even willing to work bank holidays if needed!
We’re so happy we chose Trina to look after the girls and I know they’ll both miss her when they stop going.

I met Trina post-lockdown. I was completely frazzled, everything was up in the air and we were in urgent need for childcare... Trina saved the day!
The first thing you’ll note about Trina is how calm and caring she is. The kids just gravitated towards her and I’ve not had one day where they’ve not wanted to go (my 3 yo used to scream at nursery drop off). Even at weekends they want to go there!
They have daily adventures and very well structured days. They come back exhausted and full of happiness.
Parking is great. There is alternative routes to drive to the house, so traffic isn’t a problem.
I couldn’t recommend Trina enough... 5 stars doesn’t do her justice!

We’ve known Trina since last September when she started looking after our, at the time 8 months old, son.
As he was very little we were quite concerned he would have had difficulties settling in. Trina’s experience kindness and patience were crucial to ensure he adapted well to the new settings.
Our little one bonded very well with her since the beginning and developed in a crucial period of his formation.
She has always been in touch and kept us informed on how he was getting on.
We do not hesitate to recommend Trina to other parents looking for a childminder and we thank her very much for the care she’s given to our son.

We have known Trina for the past two years when she started looking after our older son. He was one year old when he started and settled in straight away. With her warm and loving personality she won his heart. We were impressed with Trina right from the beginning, particularly the way she engaged with our son. She followed his lead rather than imposing herself and our son quickly warmed to her.
Trina has a natural warmth and empathy which I think makes her stand out in her capacity to care for children. I was always impressed by how calm she is and how well behaved all children are in her care. She teaches them respect and boundaries in a kind and gentle manner.
She is knowledgeable about child development and safeguarding of children. Trina keeps up with her personal development by taking evening courses and webinars and offers advice when asked. She worked closely with us during our older son’s potty training and followed our lead.
She plans frequent activities taking into account the needs of every child. These include trips to parks, farms, museums, indoor soft plays, and music classes. During rainy days, she prepares activities at home: messy play, singing and dancing, reading and learning or our son’s favourite; building a gigantic train track in a hallway. In the summer, they had paddling pool and even a bouncy castle in the garden. She risk assesses every activity to make sure children are safe but this does not stop her from giving children fun and stimulating day.
Her house is always clean and her garden is a safe and fun place for children to let off some steam.
Trina has also looked after our son overnight. She kindly offered to take care of him when I went into a labour and we have never doubted our son was in good hands and well looked after.
Trina is now looking after our younger son who is now 11 months. She makes sure the house is safe for his exploration and plans activities appropriate for his age. She prepares healthy home cooked meals.
She is justifiably confident in her care of the children, yet communicates promptly if she has any concerns. She keeps a diary of everything our son does and learns during the week which makes the whole settling in period for us easier.
Trina has been unfailingly reliable in her availability and flexibility for as long as we have known her.
In short we have found her a wonderful carer for our sons, someone who has contributed a great deal to their development into happy young boys over the last two years, and a friend to them who they love very much.

Trina started child-minding our 2 children nearly 3 years ago after she came very highly recommended. From the moment I met her, I knew that she was a genuinely kind and gentle lady. Our son was in primary school and our daughter was only 7 months old. Our kids settled in really well from the get-go as Trina provides a lovely home. Her gentle personality made us very comfortable leaving our precious kids in her care.
She has one-to-one interaction with the children, which is very important to us. She pays attention to the children's development and is always on hand to answer any questions. She always provides balanced meals for the children. Her house is always clean. One very admirable characteristic of Trina's is her gentle yet firm personality. She instills discipline in the children by teaching them to be polite, share and take turns with toys or books. She takes the children out to playgroups and farms. She provides fun activities such as crafts at home too.
What I loved the most was that she kept a ‘diary’ for our daughter to show us what she had eaten, where they went, how long her nap was and when she did or said new words. She also took pictures of her which she put in her diary. This really helped us know more about how our daughter was spending her day. It also re-assured us that she was in very good care and having fun. This I found was her unique style of child-minding.
And when she picks up our son after school, she provides after-school activities and meals too. She's very good with children of all ages.
Trina is reliable, trustworthy and passionate about what she does. Our children absolutely love and adore her.
