Review for Jenny – Our Amazing Childminder

Jenny is truly the best caregiver we could have ever imagined for our daughter. From the moment we first visited, she welcomed us with warmth and showed us a setting that is perfectly prepared for children. Her home is full of warmth, safe, and provides a wonderfully educational environment.

As a vegan family, it was important to us that our child’s meals align with our values, and Jenny not only accommodates this but goes far beyond our expectations. Our little one has grown so much in her care. The setting allows children of different ages to learn from one another—older children help teach the younger ones, and the younger ones pick up new skills quickly. The children genuinely love each other, and we can see this in the daily updates and pictures Jenny shares.

Our daughter adores being at Jenny’s. We are a family that speaks three languages, and English is not spoken at home, yet our daughter has learned it entirely through Jenny’s care while continuing to operate in our home languages. Jenny is always positive, warm, kind, and thoughtful—offering explanations, guidance, and advice whenever needed.

The activities at Jenny’s are amazing. Children visit other groups, libraries, parks, and even go bowling. Arts and crafts are a regular part of the day, and our daughter comes home with new creations almost every day. She is learning discipline and beautiful values—care for others, understanding where food comes from, respect for nature, and the wonderful principles of a vegan lifestyle.

Every day, our daughter asks if she is going to Jenny’s before bedtime, which says it all! She loves all the children there, and we couldn’t be happier with the care, love, and education Jenny provides. We wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a nurturing, educational, and joyful environment for their child.

100% Recommend!

We have our youngest with Jenny during the week and our middle child, who's now in reception, spends his holidays back in the setting - because he wants to go back!
Both of our children absolutely love their time with Jenny, and we can’t recommend her enough. Communication is fantastic and the size of the setting means it has an amazing family atmosphere. Whilst being an incredibly intimate setting Jenny also regularly takes the children to local groups ensuring they learns the skills necessary to function within larger groups. This along with the activities she runs in the setting means the children are incredibly well prepared for school.
Despite not being Vegan ourselves, we love the fact that the setting is vegan as it means the children get served the best fresh food every day. We often turn up as boxes of amazing vegetables are being delivered!
We have recommended the setting to several of our friends and everyone who has seen it has loved it!
We can’t recommend Jenny enough!

warm family setting

after having had bad experiences with a previous childminder I am so glad to have found Jenny. We have chosen her to look after our little one (2.5yrs) as when we met initially she was warm welcoming and supportive of our situation. She has provided clear information on her setting and is as you will have seen in her profile highly qualified. My partner and I have confindence that this setting will be the best place for our little one to be supported and nurtured through his personal development and changes that will happen in the next year with starting nursery. Jenny offered us the chance to meet with her as many times as we needed and at each stage of our communication has been very open and honest leaving us with nothing but confidence.

First Impressions

After feeling extremely anxsious about going back to work and leaving my young daughter in child care, I am very happy about our descion to have Jennifer Schol as our childminder.

Jenny met with both myself and my partner so that we could discuss care for our daughter when I return to work. Jenny was welcoming and friendly, building an instant rapport with Sophia. These meetings helped to put all my worries at ease, knowing that Sophia would be looked after in a vibrant, loving and nurturing environment.

Jenny impressed with the range of activity and the educational grounding provided in her care. Emphasis on the continutiy of care Sophia would recieve, discipline and genuine affection for all of the children in her care, helped us to make the desicion to choose Jenny as our child care provider.

I am confident that we have made the best desicion for our daughter and I trust I can return to work feeling secure that Sophia will be safe and happy in Jenny's care.
