Our daughter has been with Angie since October 2022. Finding Angie was an absolute godsend, as we were moving to Royston from London we had no hope securing a nursery space with the time we had available and Angie was just amazing, she kept a space open while we waited for our house purchase to complete (and it was inevitably delayed by several weeks). As we have no family nearby, Angie treats our daughter as an extended member of the family and we are forever grateful!
Angie deeply cares about, and is dedicated to the development of, our child. She has only their best interests at heart, she goes above and beyond anything we would have expected and is excellent at keeping parents informed of the children's day and any concerns are flagged early and discussed. We completely trust Angie with the care of our child, she's been just absolutely brilliant and we're sad it's time to move up to preschool.
In Angie's care our little girl has grown into a beautiful, articulate and well rounded toddler who enjoys crafting, reading, singing and dancing as well as being able to communicate with older children, she also is gentle around smaller children and babies. Each holiday, and birthday event is celebrated and our home is bursting with homemade crafts. We have a beautiful book filled with updates and photographs to show how our daughter has progressed in Angie's care, and we also receive periodical updates to show how she is progressing against the curriculum.
We can't recommend Angie highly enough, she's absolutely brilliant and we thank her from the bottom of our hearts!.

Angie has been looking after our 1 year old daughter since September and we could not be happier with the care she provides. Our daughter felt immediately comfortable and happy with Angie as she is so warm and friendly. Angie is very creative and does wonderful craft activities with the children, and lots of messy play! She also makes sure they have plenty of fresh air and outside play and it’s lovely that she works with Karen so the children have an even wider circle of friends and even more expert care by another great childminder. It’s such a good feeling to know that our daughter is getting such incredible care while we are working, and we feel so lucky to have found Angie. Thank you amazing Angie!

Angie was absolutely wonderful with our daughter. Although she only attended for a short time Angie made sure her time there was filled with fun! Angie was particularly brilliant when our daughter went through a really difficult patch and was really struggling to settle. Angie went above and beyond to try and help, even going as far as recommending alternative provision (which it turned out we didn’t need thanks to Angie’s care and attention!)
Everything Angie did with our daughter was kind and thoughtful, from helping her play with toys to the lovely cards and gifts the children made for special occasions. Thank you Angie for everything!

Working alongside Karen, Angie was a wonderful, flexible childminder. Very kind and considerate and my daughter adored her.

Our son has been at Angie’s for 1.5 years, every day he runs inside and doesn’t look back, a deeply reassuring sign of how content he is. Angie has been INCREDIBLE, so thoughtful, patient and full of love. Despite having a few children in her care, she has the ability of making you feel like she’s totally dedicated to the development of your child.
As we’ve grown as parents, I couldn’t have imagined having a better set up for our son. We implicitly trust Angie and know she has our son’s best interests at heart. Angie’s communication is reassuring and consistent, she understands the wants and needs of parents brilliantly.
A typical day at The Messymadhouse is full of colour, creativity and fun learning. Our boy has come on so well in Angie’s care. Angie is brilliant at celebrating landmark occasions and pours love and care into sentimental keep sakes for parents to shed a well up over.
Angie, you are amazing and we can’t thank you enough for the support you’ve given our family. Thank YOU!

Our daughter has been attending Angie's since the age of 1 for a little over 2 years. We have been very happy with the care that Angie has provided in this time. Angie goes above and beyond what might be expected of a child minder and seems to never tire of keeping up a full schedule of engaging activities for the children. Our daughter really enjoys her time with Angie, and we are very grateful we can trust Angie completely with her care. She is very caring and patient with the children and has a good attitude to dealing with difficult behaviour.
Angie provides lots of activities for the children she looks after, including many crafts, music time, reading books to them, and trips out to the park as well as larger trips out to Wimpole Hall. Particularly special is the parties she puts on with another child minder for events such as birthdays and Christmas. She regularly buys new toys based on the needs of the children she has at the time to keep them engaged and stimulated. She is very generous with her time and money in preparing activities for the children and buying gifts.
Angie keeps track of each individual's learning progress and spends regular 1-to-1 time to encourage each child in their progress. As well as typical learning activities this included for our daughter taking the lead on her potty training when she was ready, which went very well. We get regular updates from Angie and many lovely photos of all that our daughter gets up to. Angie has always been helpful and flexible where possible when we have needed to make adjustments to our daughter's schedule.
We plan to send our second child to Angie's and would recommend her to anyone!

Our twin boys started at Angie’s when they turned one and they have been under Angie’s great care for the last 2 years. Their big sister has been with Angie for a few years before that and our wish came true and we have been so lucky to have been able to return to Angie’s also with the boys.
Angie is truly an amazing person and she takes such wonderful care of all our children. Without her, we are not sure how we would have coped over the last few years. She is very experienced with children and on top of that, she is super-organised and incredibly patient. It is just so impressive how she manages so well with the tricky twin dynamics, as well as other children of different ages. Her family is so very caring and wonderful too and I know my children love to seeing them.
The children are so lucky to be able to go to outings to the parks and places like Wimpole Hall and meet other children from other settings. It has been lovely especially with decreased social mixing due to Covid, as Angie has a lovely childminder friend the children get to meet a wider circle of friends when it's safe to do so. The boys seem to really enjoy story time together where we all bring in our favourite book each week, which has been fun and also great for listening, social and literacy skills.
We feel so lucky to be able to fully trust that the children are happy and safe with Angie and we do not worry about them when we are at work. Thankfully, they have also have learnt good road safety during park outings and school runs, where Angie often very patiently holds hands to walk with them to and from school. The boys are now very good walkers. It is a bonus that Angie is a wonderful cook and the children always have delicious fresh food.
We really appreciate all updates and pictures sent to us throughout the day and hearing what they have been up to at the end of the day. Angie also makes a wonderful learning journal with the children's pictures. They are so beautifully done and we treasure them.
The toys and resources are constantly being updated and they are encouraged to tidy up before moving on to another activity - I’m sure that is helpful for their organisation skills and concentration, and they do generally help tidy up at home now too.
Angie is also extremely supportive towards us, the parents and we feel so lucky to receive all the advice when we need them. As she is so experienced, any health concerns are noticed early and we were so glad to have taken the children to the GP following her advice. Whenever we are unsure about the children's development/health, we say ‘let’s ask Angie’. We've also had many additional days we had to work unexpectedly and when there were enough spaces, Angie kindly looked after our children and we’ve been saved by her flexibility.
We just cannot thank Angie enough for everything she has done, so patiently and with amazing care. You have been such a big part of our lives and…. truly saved us all! We are so happy that our children had the best start in their learning journey we could have ever asked for!

When my two toddlers started with Angie, she straight away put me at ease and they settled in very quickly and I completely trusted her.
Angie does so much with the children and I always know they are going to have a lovely day with her.
She is very professional, kind and extremely reliable, I would recommend Angie to everyone 😊

Angie has looked after our first born daughter for 3 years, since she was 10 months old. We have had a wonderful experience and our daughter has always enjoyed spending time with Angie and the other children she looks after. Watching our daughter grow during Angie's care has been great and we have loved all the amazing handmade gifts our daughter has brought home during this time.
Angie provides a kind and nurturing environment, something we particularly wanted for our baby girl when we were first looking for a childminder. Angie regularly sets up different activities to support and enhance our daughters learning and development, she has lots of great toys and resources, which are refreshed often. She encourages varied play, arts and crafts, messy play, role play and also does lots outdoor activities including regular trips the the parks.
Angie pays close attention to what our child's interests are and will set up an activity the following week to suit, which is amazing to see and really comforting for our daughter. Angie has been very understanding and flexible when we have had issues at collection/drop-off times and is always happy to discuss and provide advice on things.
We would absolutely recommend Angie's safe and caring childminding services.

Angie has had been our childminder for over 4 years now? I’ve lost count!
Angie has looked after our two sons, now aged 6yrs and 4 yrs. We have come to the end of an era where we will no longer require a childminder because my youngest will be starting school in Sept ’21.Both my sons have flourished in the care of Angie. Learning is encouraged through play and an ever changing plan of daily activities. The orderly play room is organized with fun and stimulating toys which are kept updated and refreshed. Angie does lots of arts and crafts. Occasions such as Mother’sDay, Father’s Day, Easter are celebrated and the boys have always come home with a beautiful homemade gift.
The garden is a safe place for the children to play also. A massive tray the children congregate around can be filled with anything from water and sand to bright pink gloop.
The boys have also enjoyed the social aspect of being with a childminder – developing friendships with other children their age and especially for my youngest as he has grown a love for the toddlers. He has learnt how to be so caring and patient.
They have both been nurtured to learn at a pace which suits them as individuals. Potty training was welcomed, and her calm and experienced approach was so helpful.
Despite my sons childcare being predominately from Angie rather than preschool, this has not hindered their ability to be prepared in going to “big school”. In fact, I could confidently say that it has been an advantage with regards to their learning and development. Angie closely tracked their progress and has been meticulous in recording each achievement. She has been proactive in teaching them, and makes it part of everyday life e.g. looking out for letters whilst out and about on a walk.
Angie’s approach towards the boys has been wonderful. It feels as though she also sees them as part of her family. We have been pleased that Angie has shown the boys boundaries when required so that the boys have felt safe and contained. I love that neither of them look(ed) back, not even to say goodbye, when I drop them off. It says it all.
The support Angie has shown us as parents has not gone unnoticed either. Working irregular shift patterns has meant that at times we have needed Angie to have my son for longer on some days. She has been accommodating, flexible and understanding.
I cannot express how pleased we are to have had Angie as our childminder. She has been an extension to our family and we are incredibly grateful for all the love and commitment she given our sons.
