Leah has stayed with us for three weeks, working between another maternity nurse to provide care for our newborn daughter. She arrived at very short notice due to unforeseen staffing problems which we massively appreciated and has been reliable in providing cover.
She is quiet and kind, working independently
providing complete care for our daughter. She is respectful of our wishes and keeps us updated and informed. We can see our daughter feels very safe and comfortable with her.

Leah has been with us for a total of 10 weeks. She helped us with our daughter who was two weeks old when Leah started. We employed her mainly for three nights per week and added some 24h shifts too.
It was a pleasure working with Leah. We valued the way she was with our daughter. Leah was always very gentle, respectful, patient and caring with her. We were confident to leave our daughter with her whenever we had to leave the house, knowing that our baby is in safe and competent hands. Leah makes gentle suggestions and observations where needed which I highly appreciated.
We greatly enjoyed our time with Leah, and are sorry that the time came for her to move on.

We came to know Leah shortly after our first son was born, early 2020. She was able to manage our son, who had silent reflux, very well and she settled him into a routine effortlessly, something that I struggled with. Her advice and support was invaluable.Unfortunately we parted ways due to Covid and the fact that Leah was expecting during that time.
We contacted Leah again when we traveled in 2021 and once again she demonstrated her competence in managing my son. More recently Leah traveled with us again, this time managing my older son and my newborn seamlessly.
Leah is very pleasant to be around and is very knowledgeable in her field. I would not hesitate to use Leah’s services in the future!

We initially used Leah when my little boy had been hospitalised with Bronchiolitis and i was in desperate need of some respite when we got home. Leah was brilliant in allowing me some much needed time to rest and was very confident with our son. She was a calming presence on him. We loved having her around so much that we have had her back intermittently since that initial stint. I think she been back four times now! For different reasons, from getting him to take a bottle, routine, sleep training and sometimes just to give me a night or two off! We'd definitely recommend her to families who want someone is calm, collected and loving. She is a natural with babies and clearly has lots of practical experience. Our toddler is also a big fan of hers and she was a lovely presence in our home on her most recent stay, when she came to provide me with extra help when my husband was away for a week with work. She is always missed the minute she leaves :)

Leah came to us for 2 weeks to help with our 3 week old baby. She was caring, knowledgeable and very calm. She was also excellent with our other 2 children aged 5 and 3 years old. I would recommend her without hesitation.

We absolutely adore Leah and would highly recommend her to other families. Leah has been fantastic with our newborn son over the past few weeks. Leah is friendly, comforting and has lots of helpful advice for parents. A complete professional, as well as a lovely person. We are going to miss Leah hugely!

Leah gave me huge peace of mind after a very difficult 6 weeks with my baby daughter. My daughter did not sleep well, and only on me or her dad. During the day I was having to pace up and down during the entirety of all of her naps just to settle her and at night we were awake with her as she wouldn't be put down. She was also gripe and cried a lot. When my partner went away for work I was struggling on an hour's sleep per day and reached out to Leah. Not only did she enable me to get a full nights sleep, but she also discussed what was happening in the days with me and have me many tips and suggestions. I found her to be a lovely, calming and thoughtful présence in the house and would not hesitate to hire her again. She was lovely with the baby and forthright and supportive with me.

Leah started caring for our son when he was six weeks old and was a confident and relaxed caretaker who helped our son thrive in his first few months. Immediately she was a warm presence in our home and helped create an environment that felt like we were working with a team dynamic and problem solving as various issues came up. She is clearly well trained but also obviously has instincts and practical knowledge that come from caring for many babies through the years. Seeing her interact with, play with, and sing to our baby made me confident he was in good hands when I wasn't with him. She is proactive in offering tips and advice and reassuring when doubts come up about the baby's progress, routine, and development and helpful in answering our questions. We will miss Leah and hope to work with her again for baby #2.

Leah is a great maternity nurse and fun to have about the house. She obviously likes children and is interested in helping them. I can recommend her.

Put simply Leah restored my mental health. We have a tiny baby who was waking all hours of the night and Leah essentially immediately picked up that wind was at least part of the problem and showed us how to wind him. This sounds like a small thing but it has made an absolutely radical difference which has restored some normality to my life. Whilst one will never agree with al the advice/opinions one is offered, I will be eternally grateful to Leah for bringing me back to myself. She was also very sweet with our 4 year old who detained her at the door every day asking her ridiculous 4 year old questions. All in all she is very gentle and caring. Please do get in touch if a fuller reference is required.
