Hillview Primary School is a very special place where Heart, Passion and Success permeates all that we believe and do. Everyone in the Hillview Family is considered to be a learner and an individual. We strive to ensure all learners fulfil their potential in an environment which is safe, respectful and nurturing. We inspire and promote high expectations in all that we do. We pride ourselves on our inclusive ethos.
Our curriculum is creative and based on themes that are reflected in the learning environment. Themes are chosen to meet our children's needs and interests, as well as provide a broad and balanced curriculum. In addition to learning inside of the classrooms we are very fortunate to have large grounds which include a forest school area, sports pitches, a pond, a poly-tunnel and raised beds for growing plants and vegetables and an outside classroom. We have utilised space within the school building to provide a library and small group learning spaces.
Our Childcare Provision
The school has a breakfast club which runs from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 9.50. Please email Mrs Pattenden for more information. bpattenden@hillview.gloucs.sch.uk
The school runs it's own Nursery, Hillview Early Years. We take children aged 2 years 9 months to 4 years old. We are open from 9am to 3pm Monday to Thursday and from 9am to 12pm on a Friday. Please email our administrator Mrs Wiltshire on admin@hillviewearlyyears.co.uk
