Hi there, I'm a Primary School Teacher based in Southbourne. I'd like to think I'm friendly and reliable. I love my job and have experience nannying, babysitting, and tutoring. I love being by the beach, being active, and spending time with friends and family.
My Experience
I have been teaching for 9 years in a local Primary school within Reception and Year one. I love my job and every day is different! Previous to qualifying as a Primary school teacher I was a full time Teaching Assistant within Nursery and Reception. I have also worked as a nanny for families from the ages of 6months to 10years. As well as working in nurseries.
My Qualifications
-PGCE in Primary Education
-BA Honors Degree in Early Years
-BTEC National Diploma in Early Years and Education
-Safeguarding Level 1 qualification
-Assistant gymastics coach in general gymnastics
My Availability
I'm available weekend - evenings and weekday evenings. Also have more availability in school holidays and would be free in the day time. Happy to tutor on a Saturday morning. Feel free to message if you need someone last minute or happy to book dates in advance ?

Becky helped first with babysitting for both our children (3&5). It was the first time someone outside our family babysat. She did an amazing job and the children adored her straight away. Our daughter, 5 stayed up to do some craft and storytime with Becky which she loved.
We then asked Becky to come spend some time with our daughter over the summer to help build her confidence as she can be quite shy at school. She's been absolutely amazing and had a very special bond with our daughter. They had long chats together, did reading, maths and lots of craft. It's definitely helped our daughter be more confident and Becky showed a real interest in our daughter, adapting to her interests and bringing lots of great resources and craft ideas with her every time. Thanks for everything!!

Becky simply couldn’t be any better!
This was the first time we’ve used a babysitter outside of our family; and we were nervous!
But after meeting Becky (initially for a coffee & chat) we felt an instant relax.
When she turned up to look after our 3 children (6, 5 & 2) we introduced them to Becky and she read them a bedtime story. (Which they loved!)
Becky is a teacher (infant school) so it was perfect! She knew exactly how to talk with them. Hearing her read with our 6yr old, (he read to her first) she was able to guide him through tricky words just like his school teacher, explaining the ‘split digraph’ sounds and working through the problem. He loved that!
The kids loved her and more importantly my wife & I felt we could trust her and were able to relax and enjoy our evening out!
