Hello!
My name is Dawn, I am a 32 year old female with many years of professional and personal experience in caring for babies and children.
I am a registered midwife, have 10 years experience in nannying, and two children of my own.
I can offer many services. This includes maternity nursing, nannying including night nanny and wedding nanny, babysitting, and antenatal/postnatal assistance in pregnancy and the newborn period.
I am a very reliable, honest, approachable person, and have great communication skills.
I am very creative so no matter what the weather, I can create fun activities for children of all ages.
I have a passion for antenatal and postnatal care, therefore love to provide support for mothers and their babies.
My Experience
Prior to midwifery, my nanny career saw me care for children from newborn age up to teenagers. I have had up to 4 children in my care at the same time.
Since commencing my midwifery career, I have worked across all areas including antenatal, postnatal, and labour care.
Please note as a antenatal/postnatal carer I can provide emotional and educational support, as well as assisting with your baby/s in the early days. However I am unable to carry out any medical or clinical aspects as it would be against my registration to do this outwith my post as a midwife.
My Qualifications
I hold a Bachelors of Science degree in Midwifery.
I have PVG and first aid certificates.
I own a full UK drivers licence.
I have two 60 credit university modules in childcare, and an SVQ3 in Social Services (Children and Young People).
My Availability
I am based in the Dykes of Gray area of Dundee, and am in search of a post on a part time basis, one or two days per week.
Also happy with ad hoc & temporary arrangements.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (net)
Babysitting and Nanny rates:
1 child - £20/hr
2-3 children - £22/hr
4-5 children - £24/hr
Overnight set rate:
If you require overnight babysitting (children over 1 year old) between midnight and 7am, I have a set rate of £100, rather than the rates above.
Postnatal care rates:
£24/hr (regardless whether singleton, twins, triplets)
