About Me
I am experienced child-minder living in a house with my husband and two children situated very close to Richmond Park. At my last four OFSTED inspections, I have been graded as Outstanding. As a child-minder, I am committed to providing a loving, caring, stimulating home from home environment in which I deliver the Early Years Foundation Stages through a wide range of activities. Activities that myself and the children enjoy involve forest school, arts and crafts, singing and music sessions, cooking and gardening at my allotment. We also visit the local parks, playgrounds and mix daily with another childminder and her children to share in the activities, so the children get to expand their social group. The children receive home cooked nutritious meals and the younger ones have the opportunity to nap if required, in the quiet of their own room upstairs. I am able to drop off and collect children from Alexandra Infants School, St Paul's Junior School and Park Hill School.
My Experience
Having worked in childcare all my working life from the age of sixteen, I have many years of experience. I also regularly attend training courses to further my knowledge and keep me updated. Over the years, I have cared for children of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, including special needs and children with English as a second language.
My Qualifications
I am:
- NNEB qualified (National Nursery Examining Board)
- Paediatric First Aid trained
- Trained in Safeguarding Children
- Makaton trained
My Availability
I work Monday to Thursday, 7.30 am until 6.00pm
From September 2026 I will have one full time ( Mon to Thurs) space available.
My Fees
- Childminding from £10.00 per hour
I currently charge £10 an hour for 0-5 year olds ( no funding cost) and provide early education funded hours as well as tax free childcare
I charge £20 for an after school session which includes dinner.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Alexandra Infant School
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at St Paul's CofE Junior School

Our childminder has been looking after my two sons for many years, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care, kindness, and consistency she provides. She has cared for my eldest after school for the past six years, and for my youngest since he was a toddler and is now at school. Throughout all this time, she has been an incredibly positive and steady influence in their lives.
She picks them up from school every day, and during holidays she goes above and beyond to keep them active and engaged. One of the boys’ favourite parts of the holidays is their morning trips to Richmond Park, where she organises a variety of activities—often teaming up with another childminder to give the children even more opportunities to socialise and explore. She also organises plenty of crafts, creative projects, and hands-on activities that keep them endlessly entertained.
What truly stands out is how genuinely kind and nurturing she is. She treats my children as if they were her own, and they are always excited to spend time with her. After school, she offers a wonderful balance of structured craft activities and free play with children of different ages. She also provides a nutritious home-cooked meal, which is an enormous help to us as working parents.
I trust her completely, and my children adore her. She has played a huge role in their childhood, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found someone so reliable, caring, and committed. I would recommend her wholeheartedly to any family looking for a childminder who truly goes the extra mile.
