Amazing Childminder!

Simona has been so great with my 19 month old twins. She is very attentive to their needs and knows in detail about their daily habits. Her home is very neat and clean so I don’t have to worry about my kids. My twins love going to her place as she gets them involved in a lot of activities. Also, she sends pictures of the kids playing so it’s like I’m there with them.

10000% I would recommend Simona!

I’m so pleased we were recommended to Simona, being a first time mum I was pretty anxious about leaving my daughter (11 months at the time) however Simona fully put me at ease and I felt that Abbie was getting all the care and love she needed when I wasn’t there. Throughout the day we get updates on what activities they are doing and topics they are focusing on. By seeing how excited my daughter was to see Simona from an early age just shows how good she is. Simona is patient, caring and will always give time to talk and give advice on your child’s needs. I was looking for someone who would be a caring motherly figure to my daughter and I’m so grateful that I found that in Simona!

Simona is fantastic!

Simona began looking after our youngest daughter from 11months old, she is now 3 and attends nursery at a local school where Simona collects her from at 3.20 each day. We are incredibly lucky to have been recommended Simona and have seen the huge impact she has had on our daughters fundamental early years education. Méabh feels at home and safe with Simona and has built a wonderful relationship with her two daughters as well. Simona is highly organised, caring, patient and understanding, she gives regular updates throughout the day via WhatsApp and shares pictures of the wonderful activities they have been doing. Our second daughter has now also started with Simona and even though it can be difficult working full time, I feel like I am leaving my children with a family member and know they will receive the highest possible care.

We are so lucky to have found Simona

The title just says it all. Simona has looked after my boy since he was 11 months old until he turned 3. From the get go, we saw our boy coming home happy and developing so quickly all thanks to Simona. She is loving caring and knows the needs and wants from each child. I love how she has a lovely large garden with lots and lots of toys to play with. She sets up activities on a weekly basis and takes them to the local park. Every time I picked up my son, he just didn’t want to leave. I still paise her to this day, and now my daughter is attending her setting, we didn’t need to look else where, I was adamant she had to go with Simona. Both of my kids settled in really well. We adore you Simona, you’re just so loving and caring with my kids.

Absolutely Amazing

Simona is an absolute diamond. She looks after our son and all the other children in her care, just like her very own. She is honest, kind, supportive, creative and reliable. She has helped enormously to make our childcare experience a rewarding one. Our son loves her and so do we!

My daughter loves going to Simona

My daughter was going one day a week to Simona and 4 days a week at the nursery. Since the beginning, she felt comfortable with Simona. When she knows in the morning that she is going to the childminder, her face brightens and she got very excited (happy dance on the bed). She is also enjoying the nursery but I think the setting and the environment at Simona's home are just so special. I get an update on what she is doing during the day and it does look like they have a lot of diverse activities and fun during the day! I don't think my daughter is doing that much at the nursery. It's also great to see my daughter interacting with kids a bit younger and older than her.
Both my husband and I felt really comfortable with Simona. We have the same view in raising children and dealing with challenging moments with the kids. We 100% recommend her as a childminder.

Outstanding Childminder- highly recommended!

Having raised two kids, I never thought childminders like this existed.
I found Simona for my third one, and I can certainly say her active interaction, love, and individual approach to each child is by far, the best care I could wish for, for my little explorer.
Simona always has activities planned for the kids, which exceed what many respectful nurseries do, in different ways, i.e. creativity, educational aspect, social/practical skills, emotional intelligence, and so on. Always organized and positive, Simona will teach children good manners. I cannot recommend her enough! She is truly remarkable! I'm so lucky to have found her. My son loves spending time with Simona. Thank you so much for everything you do! :) xx

Fantastic home from home for my daughter

Simona has been a godsend for our little family, when I needed childcare during the pandemic. As an educational psychologist I visit a lot of settings, and I’m quite selective about my own childcare! From her very first message, Simona replied reliably and answered all my questions fully. I was surprised by how easily my daughter settled in, and she is always happy that it’s a Simona Day. Simona sends photos throughout the day, and I love being able to picture what my daughter is up to. Simona’s professionalism has meant that I feel able to raise any concerns I have, confident that we will still have a good relationship.

Simona has boundless energy for setting up engaging activities, and although she is a qualified teacher, she makes sure that everything is play-based, which is important to me. My daughter spends hours each day playing independently, as well as joining in with singing, stories and structured craft activities.

Simona and her family are incredibly kind. Her girls come to the door in the morning, eager to see my daughter, and my daughter especially loves her big girl, who plays beautifully with the little ones. Simona’s kindness extends to the whole family, like providing lunch for my daughter the week of our house move, and posting a card from my daughter to her granny for Mother’s Day. Simona has been very flexible to our family’s needs, and is supportive of my summer-born daughter starting Reception at five.

I have especially appreciated Simona’s calm approach to the pandemic. The children are well informed about the virus and take all sensible precautions but their day to day lives are filled with play and normality. Simona holds a party for each child’s birthday and celebrates every occasion and event, which has filled the huge gap left by restrictions and cancellations in the wider world.

I am so grateful for Simona’s skilled and kind care of my daughter, and I hope our families will be friends long after my daughter leaves to start school.

So happy we found Simona!

We were initially thrown into looking for a Childminder when our eldest son was starting Reception at Whitings Hill and whilst we had always planned for him to go to After School Club this was not available due to the COVID pandemic, let the stress begin.
We searched around for a Childminder and visited a few but did not feel comfortable with those ones as we were looking for someone who would replicate a home environment for our son and not just be an after school club. We then found Simona and thank god we did. We popped over to her lovely warm, clean and safe home and instantly felt that gut feeling you get when you know its the right person. Our son warmed to her straight away and our 2 yr old didn't want to leave which is always a good sign. An important thing for us was that as our son wasn't going to be getting hot meals at school due to COVID that he would get one in the evening and Simona is more than happy to cook every evening for him, even catering to his fussy nature with food.

We get regular Whatsapp photos with him practising his reading and writing there and SImona constantly keeps him entertained with far more imaginative games than we come up with at home. He also has a lot of fun playing with the other children including Simona's daughters.

We honestly couldn't recommend Simona highly enough. She is naturally caring and very professional. Our boy Is extremely happy there and always has a big smile on his face when we pick him up surely that's the only sign you need to know you've made the right choice.
