A truly exceptional childminder

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Simona. As a first-time mum, the thought of leaving my son with someone new was understandably daunting, but Simona has completely exceeded every expectation.

From the very beginning, she has been warm, loving, patient, and trustworthy. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about each child in her care and creates a nurturing environment where they can thrive. Although I worried that my son would struggle to settle in, Simona was so supportive and reassuring throughout the process. Thanks to her kindness and dedication, he settled beautifully and now absolutely loves going to daycare.

One of my favourite things is receiving the photos and updates she sends during the day. My son always looks so happy, engaged, and full of smiles. The variety of activities Simona plans each day is fantastic, and it's wonderful to see how much thought and effort she puts into creating fun, educational experiences for the children.

Even at his young age, I can see how much he is learning and developing from the environment Simona creates. He has grown so much in confidence and curiosity, and he absolutely adores Mona. Seeing him excited to go each day gives me complete peace of mind.

I cannot recommend Simona highly enough. She is truly exceptional, and we are so grateful to have found someone who cares for our son as if he were her own.

Couldn’t Be Happier with Mona

We couldn’t be happier with the care our daughter has received from Mona.

When our daughter first started, she was very unsure and found the transition difficult, but Mona was absolutely amazing during the settling-in phase. She was so patient, caring, and reassuring, which made a huge difference to both our daughter and us as parents.

Five months on, our daughter absolutely loves going and looks forward to every day she spends there. It’s been wonderful to see how happy, confident, and settled she has become.

The children are always doing such fun, creative, and engaging activities, and it’s clear how much thought and care goes into planning their days. We love seeing all the different things they get up to.

Simon’s communication is fantastic. We receive regular updates and the cutest photos throughout the day, which is so reassuring and allows us to feel connected to our daughter’s experiences.

We would highly recommend Mona to any parent looking for a warm, nurturing, and professional childminding environment. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her.

Fantastic care setting

Simona, or 'Mona' as she is lovingly known but the children, is a wonderful childminder. One of the things I appreciate greatly is how many photos she sends during the day. We really get a sense of how much effort she puts in to creating a vibrant space for the children. Each day is filled with activities that she has planned out. I also genuinely get the sense that she loves my little boy, and that is exactly the type of environment I wanted for him. He was the youngest of the group when he started, so I was quite nervous, but I could not recommend her enough. Thank you, Simona, for being so brilliant.

Amazing Childminder!

Simona has been so great with my 19 month old twins. She is very attentive to their needs and knows in detail about their daily habits. Her home is very neat and clean so I don’t have to worry about my kids. My twins love going to her place as she gets them involved in a lot of activities. Also, she sends pictures of the kids playing so it’s like I’m there with them.

10000% I would recommend Simona!

I’m so pleased we were recommended to Simona, being a first time mum I was pretty anxious about leaving my daughter (11 months at the time) however Simona fully put me at ease and I felt that Abbie was getting all the care and love she needed when I wasn’t there. Throughout the day we get updates on what activities they are doing and topics they are focusing on. By seeing how excited my daughter was to see Simona from an early age just shows how good she is. Simona is patient, caring and will always give time to talk and give advice on your child’s needs. I was looking for someone who would be a caring motherly figure to my daughter and I’m so grateful that I found that in Simona!

Simona is fantastic!

Simona began looking after our youngest daughter from 11months old, she is now 3 and attends nursery at a local school where Simona collects her from at 3.20 each day. We are incredibly lucky to have been recommended Simona and have seen the huge impact she has had on our daughters fundamental early years education. Méabh feels at home and safe with Simona and has built a wonderful relationship with her two daughters as well. Simona is highly organised, caring, patient and understanding, she gives regular updates throughout the day via WhatsApp and shares pictures of the wonderful activities they have been doing. Our second daughter has now also started with Simona and even though it can be difficult working full time, I feel like I am leaving my children with a family member and know they will receive the highest possible care.

We are so lucky to have found Simona

The title just says it all. Simona has looked after my boy since he was 11 months old until he turned 3. From the get go, we saw our boy coming home happy and developing so quickly all thanks to Simona. She is loving caring and knows the needs and wants from each child. I love how she has a lovely large garden with lots and lots of toys to play with. She sets up activities on a weekly basis and takes them to the local park. Every time I picked up my son, he just didn’t want to leave. I still paise her to this day, and now my daughter is attending her setting, we didn’t need to look else where, I was adamant she had to go with Simona. Both of my kids settled in really well. We adore you Simona, you’re just so loving and caring with my kids.

Absolutely Amazing

Simona is an absolute diamond. She looks after our son and all the other children in her care, just like her very own. She is honest, kind, supportive, creative and reliable. She has helped enormously to make our childcare experience a rewarding one. Our son loves her and so do we!

My daughter loves going to Simona

My daughter was going one day a week to Simona and 4 days a week at the nursery. Since the beginning, she felt comfortable with Simona. When she knows in the morning that she is going to the childminder, her face brightens and she got very excited (happy dance on the bed). She is also enjoying the nursery but I think the setting and the environment at Simona's home are just so special. I get an update on what she is doing during the day and it does look like they have a lot of diverse activities and fun during the day! I don't think my daughter is doing that much at the nursery. It's also great to see my daughter interacting with kids a bit younger and older than her.
Both my husband and I felt really comfortable with Simona. We have the same view in raising children and dealing with challenging moments with the kids. We 100% recommend her as a childminder.
