About Me
Hello, my name is Charlotte. I am an enthusiastic, creative and willing individual with a passion for child care and child development. I have a BA(Hons) degree in Art, I have my PDGE for Primary teaching and I am currently engaged in a MA course in Children's Literature at Glasgow University. I am a tidy and responsible individual who always gives 100% when it comes to a job especially when it comes to child care as I understand the importance of positive influences at a young age. I am an understanding and caring person and I believe that being welcomed into someone's home and trusted to look after their children is a huge privilege and it is a job that has always brought me great joy.
My Experience
I have worked as a full time nanny for a 4 year old boy, providing him with lunch every day and providing stimulating learning activities and arts and crafts, I also sat with his 8 year old sister when doing school work and generally helped the family in any way possible. I also work as a regular baby sitter for a number of years. I am a fully qualified primary teacher and also have experience working in nurseries. I have recently worked in two different after school groups, one where I assist in a coding and robotics club and another in an "adventure school" where we engaged in outdoor learning as well as sports and art. I now work for Scottish Autism as a support worker. I am first aid trained and also have experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities. I also have my PVG and though I cannot drive, I am willing to travel via public transport to be where I am needed.
My Qualifications
I have all credit standard grades, 4 Highers and I have also obtained 2 A levels from my time at public school. I have a BA(Hons) degree in Contemporary Art Practice and a PGDE in Primary Education. I have just completed my Masters in Children's Literature and Literacies and I am about to begin a PGCert in Inclusive Education.
My Availability
My availability changes from week to week due to work but it is flexible.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
My fees are completely negotiable depending on the nature of the job and during this difficult time I am willing to work reduced rates for those that are struggling.
