About Me
I am a well-mannered, trustworthy and responsible nanny, with a genuine love for children. Having had a great deal of experience over the last twenty years in numerous educational settings and interest in child development, safety and wellbeing. Furthermore I am a confident child-carer with strong morals, a nurturing spirit and a love of the great outdoors. I have excellent organisational and communication skills and am able to relate well with adults and children at all levels and converse in a polite, respectful and courteous manner. I am creative and self-motivated and able to work to an excellent standard. My aim is to ensure a positive difference to the lives of the children within my care. I am DBS cleared and fully insured as a Nanny.
Up-to-date on current safeguarding legislation to ensure protection for the children being cared for and providing a professional service. I have my own vehicle including an motorhome and extra car insurance to transport children in my care.
My Experience
Over the last twentyfive years I have worked at a variety at settings, including nurseries; mainstream schools, special needs schools and after-school clubs. I have experience of children with special needs, challenging behaviour and learning difficulties. I have established and managed an out of school breakfast, after-school and holiday club provision for 32 children.
My experience as a Nanny for different families looking after the children during the daytime, before or after school each day and during the holidays. Being totally focused on the children, involved with daily routines and helping them with after school activities. Attending any medical appointments or social events with the children and taking or collecting from school.
I have most recently worked in residential children’s home looking after mainly teenagers working on a 1:1 as a key worker with individual children.
I have many childcare qualifications including Childcare & Development - BTEC Level 3 and Special Needs Assistant - NCFE, Safeguarding Children - Level 1. Safeguarding Children - Level 2 - Nominated Officer. Paediatric First Aid.

My Availability
I can work during the daytime and evenings Monday - Friday and also available to work weekends. I am very flexible and will work alongside the family as needed.

- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
