About Me
?Warm, dedicated, attentive and qualified with a First Class degree in Developmental Psychology, a Master's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis and Positive Behaviour Support, children's mental health, safeguarding and learning difficulties. I have over a decade of experience supporting children with a range of support needs, including GDD, autism, ADHD, epilepsy, sensory needs, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, dyslexia, discalcula and more.
My approach is always neuro-affirming, individualised, person-centred, and child-led, with a strong focus on building independent skills and supporting confidence, positive sense of self, and mental health. At the core of positive behaviour support is creating an environment that sets children up for long-term success in building functional skills and emotional regulation.
I am a creative at heart and integrate creative play and expression into my practice to develop skills, support emotional well-being, and make everyday learning engaging and enjoyable for every child.
My Experience
Experience with all ages 0-18, with particular experience with preschool and primary school-aged children.
Specialist care for support needs, including autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and sensory processing differences.
Experience of alternative communication, including AAC devices, PECS and some BSL.
