About Me
I was previously a registered childminder for over fifteen years when I was bringing up my own four children who are now of adult age. My child minding role was an extremely signicant time in my life, it was an amazing journey not only for myself but equally for my own young family due to the friendships made and the social interactions of our days together when I cared for minded children from my home.
Rainy days inside were filled with crafts, games including baking fairy cakes, selections being Cinderella to Thomas the tank toppers, pleasing to the boys and girls alike ?
Library days were always a special time out for us all, I would keep up dated with what was going on, I.e reading and sing along activities set within the local libraries.
On dry weather days we would venture out together to varied local parks, taking a blanket along with us to have some lunch time picnic fun. To follow we would head to the swing park for lots more entertaining activities.
We would also go on occasional journeys by train due to the children loving this experience.
My Experience
I have fifteen years experience of being a registered childminder. My registration covered infants to twelve years old.
I cared over these years for all the above age groups, I adapted my skills for each childs individual stage and need.
I so enjoyed the interaction and challenges of my childminding role.
I am currently a registered sitter, i have been in this role for over eight years and i have many regular families i sit for, references are available if required.
My P.V.G is in place.
I am a reliable,caring, trustworthy, adaptable and fun loving for young children to be around.
My Qualifications
I was a registered childminder for fifteen years, I have my previous registration to confirm this. Since leaving this role I have been a nanny and also a registered baby sitter for over eight years, my P.VG is in place.
I have paediatric first aid experience.
My Availability
I am flexible with the days and hours I can work which will help to accommodate a parents individual work pattern.
