About Me
Hello I'm Debbie I have been a childminder for 20 years this year and I wouldn't change a thing. I am married with 2 grown up children and a house full of pets. I offer children a homely setting with plenty of resources for indoor and outdoor play. I have a secure garden and am in the process of building a outdoor room which will enhance my setting.
I enjoy taking the children out to explore our surrounding countryside and also further a field; Clumber, Yorkshire wildlife park, museums. these visits can be part of the EYFS learning journey.
My last Ofsted inspection was rated Good. My local school is Tickhill St Marys
All my policy and procedures are Ofsted approved.
I offer funded places
I have a current DBS check as do all my family members.
My Experience
I have worked with children for over 30 years, my childcare journey started in London as a nanny. I worked for 3 different families over a period of 9 years before becoming a childminder in 1999. I have cared for children from 12 weeks to 11 years.
My Qualifications
I have a NVQ level 3 in children's care and learning development.
Early years First Aid and Epipen training.
Safeguarding and Child protection.
Positive behaviour training.
Data protection.
