My Summary

My Experience

I trained in a local pre-school nursery where I qualified to Level 3 Child Care and Learning Development, to a very high standard. I went on to complete my level 5, and became deputy manager, and then manager of tye nursery. I am very experienced in childcare and child development,
I also led a local children's group on a voluntary basis for seven years, which I very much enjoyed.
I absolutely love working with children, and I am very committed to providing the best care for them, including supporting them in all areas of learning development.
I also have experience of supporting children with additional needs on a one-to-one support basis. I have newborn experience, as I have had three children of my own, including twins. My twins were also born prematurely, so I understand the issues that go along with premature babies, such as adjusting weaning, etc.
I am currently looking for employment in the local area as a home child-carer, for babies and/or pre-school aged children where I would be looking after them in their own home, or as a household help, assisting parents with chikdcare and helping with domestic tasks. I can do this as a booked block of weeks, or for the odd day here and there, as needed. This is ideal if you need someone to look after your baby or child for you at home, while working, going out for the day or attending a doctor's appointment, etc, or if you are home with your children and just need extra help. I am very professional and can provide nursery aged children with fun activities for both indoors and outdoors, as part of my service. I am in the process of looking into registering with the CSSIW as an approved home child-carer, which is not a legal requirement for this type of child care, but by being an approved home child carer, it does mean that parents who employ me, have the opportunity to claim back some of the childcare costs (if eligible) through the Childcare element of Working Tax Credits.

• Speech, Communication and Language Needs (part of SEN training)
• Hanen certified in Speech and Language
• Creative Learning in Mathematics course

• I also have completed a range of other training courses such as ALN courses and Biting in Early Years.
I have also completed Frobel approach training which is centred around connecting with nature, with the Froebel Trust.

• I can speak basic Welsh, and I can incorporate this into childcare and learning routines, if you'd like your child to learn some Welsh.
• All my cerificates can be viewed in person, on request.

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
• Nursery work from £13.00 per hour

My fees are £13 per hour.
