My Summary

My Experience

I’m a qualified primary school teacher with QTS and have several years of experience working with children from babies and toddlers through to primary-school age.

I completed my Primary Education degree with a specialism in Early Years and gained experience across a range of schools and year groups throughout the West Midlands. After graduating, I worked as a supply teacher for two years, teaching across different primary year groups and also working in nursery settings. I then worked for two years in a Nursery class within a primary school in Shropshire.

Alongside my teaching experience, I have also worked as a private tutor, supporting primary-aged children with areas including reading, phonics, English, maths, homework and general confidence with learning. I’m comfortable adapting activities and support to suit each child’s individual ability and needs.

I have experience working with children with additional needs and have built strong, positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues throughout my career. I’m DBS checked and registered on the DBS Update Service.

My Qualifications

I am a qualified Primary School Teacher with QTS and a degree in Primary Education. I also have 8 GCSEs, including English, Maths and Science, and 3 A Levels in English, Business Studies and Health & Social Care. My training and teaching experience have given me a strong understanding of child development, learning and supporting children across a range of ages and needs

My Availability

My availability is currently quite flexible during the week, including daytime and some evenings. I’m happy to consider both regular arrangements and occasional or ad-hoc childcare and tutoring. Please feel free to get in touch to discuss your requirements.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

Babysitting – from £15 per hour
Tutoring – from £25 per hour
Regular childcare/nanny work – rate to be agreed depending on hours and requirements
