I am a caring, patient and dependable parent with many years of hands-on experience raising children and supporting them through different stages of childhood and adolescence.
As a parent of children with sickle cell and autism, I have developed a deep understanding of the importance of patience, consistency, empathy and creating a safe environment where every child feels understood and supported. My personal experience has taught me how important it is to recognise that every child is different, to listen to their individual needs and to adapt my approach accordingly.
I understand that children can sometimes need extra reassurance, additional time to settle, support with transitions or simply a calm and understanding adult around them. I am confident in maintaining routines while also being flexible when a child needs a different approach.

Having personal experience of caring for children with complex needs has also taught me the importance of good communication with parents. I understand that parents know their children best, and I would always take the time to understand a child's individual routines, preferences, triggers, dietary requirements, medical needs and anything else that helps them feel comfortable and secure.
My aim is to provide childcare that feels safe, caring and dependable, while allowing children to relax, have fun, build confidence and feel genuinely valued.
My Qualifications
I do not currently hold a formal childcare qualification. However, I have extensive hands-on experience as a parent and have many years of practical experience caring for and supporting children through different stages of childhood.
I am committed to developing my childcare knowledge and would be willing to complete any relevant training required.
