My Experience

I have 15+ years' experience working as a babysitter, looking after children of all ages and childminding through various activities such as indoor play, outdoor play, cooking and baking, Montessori-style activities, visiting the city, museums, exhibitions.

I love babysitting in a way that helps a child develop and adds a lot of value to their life, whether that is by helping them learn a new language, learning about food by cooking or baking together, doing physical activities, painting and learning about colour combinations, for example, visiting a museum or a children's theatre performance. I self-teach Montessori training for children that develops their skills and bodies holistically.
I am a not a fan of screens and very highly-stimulating activities that leave the child with a 'low' once they stop. Nonetheless, my priority is to follow all parents' needs and preferences.

Outside of freelance babysitting, I have worked as:
- AUPAIR: in Shanghai (China) for one year living with two 7-year-old twins, looking after them and teaching them English
- CHILDREN'S ENGLISH TUTOR: I taught English in Shanghai to groups of children, aged 4-7.
- CHILDREN'S LEARNING AMBASSADOR: I coordinated Chinese-learning activities for children learning Mandarin through the Mandarin Excellence Program available throughout many schools in the UK.

Practical information:
- I am FIRST AID TRAINED.
- I speak three languages natively: English, Italian, Swedish.
- I cook extremely well, following how I grew up in Italy and I am very health-focused.
- I am very energetic, empathetic, kind and body-centred.
- I have two degrees, one is from drama school training, so I have both an academic and performance background.

My Qualifications

BA(Hons) Acting for Stage and Screen - The Open University, UK.
BA(Hons) Chinese and English Literature - The University of Leeds, UK.
BA(Hons) Chinese Language Courses - Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China.

My Availability

My preference for working hours is afternoon and evenings (until late if needed), but I can be available during mornings too depending on each family's needs.
Additional information:
- Available for overnight stays when needed.
- Available last-minute, unless already engaged in an activity/other work.
- Available at weekends.
- Available for ad hoc babysitting and short stays, like 1-2 hours.
- Available in Chiswick, where I live or in surrounding areas.
- Available to help you plan and throw a children's party as I have extensive and exceptional events management experience.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £19.98 per hour

I will charge after the first time meeting and spending time with your child! If outside of Chiswick and surrounding areas, I will add a £10 charge to cover my transport.
