Just wonderful!!

Shannon has been the nanny to my 14 month old since I went back to work in September and she's been absolutely wonderful.
Shannon is always incredibly engaged with my son, as soon as she seems him she gets on the floor to his level. He absolutely loves playing games with her. She always makes sure he gets outside time as much as is physically possible with the weather and I'm so excited to see what lovely activities they get up to in the summer!
Shannon has the perfect level of communication also, always letting me know what they're up to and when they're popping out, but not constant updates to let me focus on work.
I can tell she really cares about my son and I feel so comfortable being back at work knowing he's having a wonderful time doing wonderful things with someone so caring and competent.
Shannon has also been extremely helpful and gone above and beyond in helping me trying to improve my son's night time sleep - which has been a big success!

Conscientious, attentive care!

Shannon is the best-- she is incredibly communicative, professional, and most important, attentive and kind to the children in her care. Our son loved playing with her, and amazingly she matched his non-stop energy. Shannon is easy to work with, highly competent, responsible, and adaptable. Cannot recommend her enough!

Amazing Nanny, kids absolutely love Shannon!

Shannon has been with our family for six months, caring for our two children (our 2.5-year-old son and 1-year-old daughter), and we honestly couldn’t ask for more. From day one, she has been reliable, understanding, and full of positive energy. She engages the kids in so many creative activities — reading, playing, and teaching them through fun, age-appropriate games.

She really takes the time to understand each child’s unique personality and needs, and it shows in how comfortable and happy they are around her. The kids absolutely adore Shannon and always look forward to her visits! She also keeps things tidy, always cleans up after activities, and often offers thoughtful suggestions to support their learning and development.

We were initially nervous about having a nanny, but Shannon quickly put all our worries to rest. She has become a wonderful part of our family’s routine, and we’re so grateful for her care and dedication

Amazing care.

Shannon looked after our 6 month old and was wonderful. She goes above and beyond her duties and was a pleasure to deal with.

She was very responsive to messages and made time to get to know our little one and was very caring and considerate.

I would highly recommend Shannon, she was first class.

Can't recommend more highly

Shannon worked for us from April to date as our day nanny. We have 2 children – a 3 year old little girl and a 5 month baby boy. My husband and I work long hours and we therefore needed a very dependable child carer.

Shannon was simply amazing from the get go. She is, of course, a very experienced nanny having held live in and day jobs in the past. Before every day she would send a very detailed plan of the day in terms of activities - be those physical as well as mental and that gave me comfort to know that there was adequate and suitable stimulation for the children. On feeding, Shannon encouraged a wide variety of lunchtime items that our toddler is more engaged with lunchtime eating – be that by participating in making pasta or chopping veg/fruit or making scrambled eggs. Shannon has great experience of feeding tips for toddlers.

Shannon would arrange outings to the park or library or museum and also kept things lively with forest school which our little girl loved. Shannon would also take her swimming training and the difference in terms of our toddler’s confidence and interest in swimming and water more generally is simply unbelievable.

Other points to note, Shannon always tidied up after cooking and ensured that the nursery was as tidy as possible and she would ensure that any soiled clothes were in the washing machine. She was also very good at ensuring that there were sufficient spare clothes which meant I didn’t have to worry if a sudden change of clothes was needed. Shannon was always punctual and reliable and keep me up to speed with all the days activities as well as providing photos of key moments (with my consent). Shannon has a very calm demeanour especially when dealing with high spirited toddlers – she was able to talk to my daughter in a soothing and comforting manner. She has endless enthusiasm and patience and I always knew my children were safe and happy in her care. I was also always impressed as Shannon would go above and beyond and research other age appropriate activities for my daughter.

I am delighted to be able to provide Shannon with an excellent reference and any family would be very lucky to have her.

Couldn’t recommend highly enough

Shannon is a very professional and reliable childcare provider. My little girl loves her and I never worry when she is in Shannon’s care as I have absolute faith in her. She is very hands on and can keep my 18month old entertained for hours.
Great communication and really lovely to deal with. Would highly recommend.
