A wonderful and caring place for our little boy

Our son started at Pegah’s childminding setting when he was just six and a half months old. It was incredibly difficult for us to leave him at such a young age, but we very quickly felt that we could completely trust Pegah and her team.

Every morning, our son is genuinely delighted to arrive at their door, which says everything. It is such a warm, caring and child-centred environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn and thrive at their own pace.

We always love receiving the photos at the end of the day and seeing everything they have been up to. There is so much thought, creativity and care behind the activities they organise, and it is clear that a lot of effort goes into making each day interesting, engaging and enjoyable for the children.

We visited several childminders before choosing Pegah, and for us, it quickly became obvious that this was the right place for our son. We could not be happier with our decision and feel incredibly lucky to have found such a wonderful setting.

Thank you, Pegah, for everything you do and for taking such wonderful care of our little boy. We could not recommend you highly enough!

Lucky to have found Pegah and Mehdi

We reviewed numerous options circa 2023/2024 for Richmond/Kew/Margate/East Twickenham area for all care for ages 1-4 years; we're so glad we found Pegah and Mehdi.

We really appreciate Pegah and Mehdi's tireless efforts and their smart approach; they make the most of West London and the setting itself is very practical across the board (e.g. handy buggy parking, quiet side-road, lovely back garden area, airconditioned spaces inside).

Current 2026 cohort of children is great too, very glad to have such lovely kids.

Wonderful childcare setting

Our son joined Happy Families 2 months ago at 11 months old. We were quite anxious about how he would settle in as we hadn't left him much previously. However Pegah, Mehdi and their fantastic team were amazing at helping him settle and easing our nerves. I'll never forget how our baby cuddled into Pegah on the second day like he was right at home!

The setting is wonderful - comfortable, homely, safe and full of interesting and enriching things for children. In addition, the team take the children on trips so they can experience the world! All the food is homemade and I feel confident that our son is getting everything he needs.

Communication has been excellent - we receive daily photos and care log updates so we can share in what he has been up to and know about his feeds and naps.

We couldn't be happier and would wholeheartedly recommend Happy Families to anyone looking for childcare for their little one :)

A Home Away From Home

My son joined Pegah's setting when he was around one year old, and it has now been almost two years.

Before choosing Pegah, I visited six different childcare settings. The moment I visited hers, I knew I had found exactly what I had been looking for.

To me, choosing childcare for a child under four is about much more than finding somewhere safe for them to spend the day. It is about choosing a place where they will be loved and cared for as if they were with family. Pegah, Mehdi, and their wonderful team truly provide that kind of environment.

Originally, our son attended nursery three days a week and spent two days with Pegah. When he turned two, he surprised us by saying that he didn't want to go to nursery anymore and wanted to go to Pegah's every day instead. We listened to him, and since then he has attended five days a week. For a two-year-old to express that preference so clearly says more than any review ever could.

Every day, I share the beautiful photos Pegah takes with our extended family. We have a very large family, and almost everyone comments on how amazed they are by the incredible experiences the children have.

They explore Richmond Park searching for wildlife, listen to stories about bees at Kew Gardens, watch swans and ducks at the Wetland Centre before enjoying the splash park, visit zoos and farms to learn about animals, and discover countless parks, museums, and nature spots around Richmond. Honestly, thanks to Pegah, my son has explored more of London than my husband and I have! Every evening, our whole family looks forward to seeing the day's photos. They have become some of our most treasured memories.

Pegah has also created the most wonderful home and garden for the children. This summer, they even built a little "car wash" in the garden where the children could splash around and play with water for hours. Every birthday is thoughtfully celebrated with beautiful decorations that make each child feel special.

One of my favourite memories was last Christmas. Pegah and Mehdi spent weeks transforming their home into a magical Christmas wonderland, complete with a gingerbread house, Santa's sleigh, and so many thoughtful little details. I honestly remember thinking that if I could be a child again, I would want to spend Christmas there too.

Even on days when they stay at home, which actually isn't very often because Pegah places such a strong emphasis on outdoor learning and exploration, there is never a shortage of engaging activities. there is never a shortage of engaging activities. My son regularly comes home proudly carrying little cakes he has baked, paintings he has created, and all kinds of crafts. For Mother's Day, Father's Day, and other special occasions, the children make heartfelt handmade gifts. Every single activity reflects the incredible amount of thought, care, and creativity that Pegah puts into what she does.

What I appreciate most is that Pegah truly sees each child as an individual. She understands that every child develops differently and creates an environment where they can grow with confidence while providing them with wonderful experiences and opportunities.

Since joining her setting, I have watched my son become more confident, cheerful, imaginative, and sociable. His language has developed remarkably, and he now happily introduces himself to new children and makes friends with ease. Watching his confidence grow has been one of the greatest joys for us as parents.

Every morning, dropping him off at Pegah's front door, and every evening, watching him run out with the biggest smile on his face, fills both my husband and me with happiness and reassurance.

Meeting Pegah and Mehdi has truly been one of the greatest blessings for our family. They have supported not only our son's development, but also our journey as first-time parents, giving us confidence, reassurance, and complete peace of mind.

I don't really think of what they provide as simply childcare anymore. It feels as though they have become part of our family. But if I had to describe it as a service, I can honestly say it is the service we have been happiest to pay for, and without question the best value we have ever received.

Most amazing childminder

Our son started attending Pegah’s when he was 12 months. I was really nervous about him going to childcare and couldn’t be happier that we found Pegah and the wonderful childcare she offers. There are really no words to explain how great I think Pegah is, but I’ll try…

Pegah, Medhi and her team are incredible with the children. It is clear that they love the children and they are looked after with absolute love and care in a wonderful home and nurturing environment.

There are amazing trips almost every day to a huge variety of places which are enriching for the children: the local farm, Kew Gardens, the Wetlands Centre, soft play. Every afternoon Pegah arranges amazing activities for the children, based on different themes each week (for example, for “ocean week” they made and painted a wonderful seascape, and since “bee week” my son has adored seeing bees). She clearly spends a huge amount of time and energy planning and executing the activities for the children and I’m amazed every week at what she plans for them.

Pegah puts love and care into the food the children eat and I’m always impressed by the wonderful homemade menu she creates for the children. There is never anything unhealthy or processed.

Pegah has managed to help us along the way with what feels like incredible individualised care, such as helping with his naps and helping him to settle when he started.

Overall, we couldn’t be happier with Pegah and what she offers. I don’t see any other childcare which comes close to offering what Pegah does and I would recommend her to anyone who wants a loving and enriching environment for their child

Best Childminder!

Our son joined at 16 months and is almost 2 and we couldn’t be happier that we found Pegah and her team. I’d been anxious about leaving my son with anyone outside of family and after a while of looking we found what we can only describe as the best childminder! She helped both my son and I in those first settling in weeks with great care. We have seen the immense effort that Pegah and her team put into making each day special for the children.
The children are always outside on trips or playing in the garden doing fun and creative activities.
Since our son attended his development has rocketed and every day on collection he is happy and smiling.

We really couldn’t have a better childminder in Pegah. We are so grateful for the kind, caring and loving environment that she has created.

Best childcare setting ever!

Pegah and her team are everything you could hope for in a childcare setting. My daughter started attending Happy Family when she was just 8 months old, and she is now 2. From the very beginning, she has always been happy and excited to go there.

The love, care, and dedication that Pegah and her team show in everything they do is really exceptional. They are incredibly kind, gentle, and nurturing, and the children naturally learn those same values from them.

The activities they provide are thoughtfully planned, with a strong focus on each child’s development, and they spend lots of time outdoors, which my daughter absolutely loves. Every day feels purposeful, engaging, and special.

I cannot thank Pegah and her team enough for the care they have given my daughter over the past two years and they are continuing to provide. Knowing she is in such a loving, safe, and stimulating environment means so much to our family. We will always be grateful for everything they have done for her!

Exceptional Care and Early Support

Our son attended Happy Family Childcare when he was one , and we will always be grateful for the care and support Pegah gave him.
As parents of a child with additional needs, we really appreciated that she picked up on his developmental needs early. She kept us informed, monitored his progress, and helped us access the right support by involving the local authority and referring us to specialists. She worked closely with us and the professionals involved, and that early help made a real difference to our son’s development and school readiness.
Our son was always happy to go to Happy Family Childcare, and we knew he was in safe, caring hands. He is now settled and doing well at school, and we truly appreciate everything Pegah did to support him. We would highly recommend Happy Family Childcare to any family.

A wonderful childminder !!!

Pegah has created a wonderful caring, fun and safe environment for children. The setting is full of toys, books and Pegah’s garden is full of outdoor activities.
Every day the children have fun with varied activities including trips to Kew Gardens, Hampton Court, local farms, indoor and outdoor playgrounds and a variety of home activities helping with children’s development.
My son settled in very quickly. He loved going to see Pegah, her team and his little friends.
I cannot recommend Pegah and her team highly enough.
We are lucky to be a part of Pegah’s happy family!

Words can’t come close! AMAZING

Honestly, I don’t have enough words to describe how incredible Pegah and her team are. If you’re lucky enough to get your little one into her setting, you will not be disappointed. I could not recommend Pegah enough; on every level she surpasses all expectations. The amount of love, care, effort, and attention she puts into the children is on another level. Every day they’re off doing some sort of amazing activity, visiting a farm, Hampton Court Magic Garden, Kew Garden, Steam Museum, Soft Play and Sandpit to name just a few. Days when they can’t go out due to weather, they are busy doing loads of fun activities or pottering in the amazing little back garden. They prepare beautiful healthy home cooked lunch every day and they can deal with all types of allergies. My son could not have dairy and it was not issue. Pegah focuses on every part of a child’s development. My son has really developed educationally due to Pegah. Reciting the entire alphabets well before he was two. Counting to 10, 20 and then 30. They do loads of fun learning activities. Pegah also spends a lot of time working on emotions and feelings. I feel my little one has received the best start to life because of Pegah & Mehdi. He jumps out of my arms every morning and I cannot get him home in the evening he loves it so much. Forever grateful. Xx

Brilliant!

Our 1 year old has been with Pegah and team for a couple of months. It’s great, very much a tailored service, with the child’s needs properly taken into account. Pegah organises a wide variety of daily activities and trips and provides nutritious food, all homemade. His development has come on significantly since joining and we’re so happy he’s having fun whilst learning!

Absolutely wonderful!

We cannot thank Pegah and her team enough for all of the wonderful care and love that has been shown to our 2.5 year old twins since starting 10 months ago. We have been blown away by the range of thoughtful activities and days out. Our twins have developed so much and are always thrilled to arrive every morning. The daily updates and weekly videos are fantastic and it is clear that Pegah gets to know each child so well. We feel very lucky to have found her!

Wonderful Childminder

Pegah and her team provide a wonderful environment for children and we could not recommend her more highly as a childminder. Our son has been with her for nearly 10 months and he is always so excited to be dropped off in the mornings. We have been really impressed by the wide variety of things the children do each week with creative activities and exciting trips. Very Happy Parents and Child

Our 2 year old has been with Pegah since he was 9 months old and has loved it from day 1. Pegah and her team go above and beyond in making every day an enjoyable experience for the children. They organise lots of different excursions and in house learning activities each week. Parents are sent a weekly video so they can see what their child has been doing during the week. We are very happy with Pegah’s services and hope to send our newborn to her later this year. We would recommend her to any parents looking for a dedicated and reliable childminder in the Twickenham area.

Amazing childminder - highly recommend

My two children (1 and 2 years old) have been with Pegah for the past 4 months. Pegah is wonderful - she is so caring, creative and passionate about what she does. The children will go on outings most days, and Pegah provides so many educational activities in her home as well. Both children enjoy going to her so much, and we really feel that she and her team are part of our family. We couldn’t recommend Happy Family enough.

An amazing childminder

Pegah runs Happy Families out of her home in Cole Park Road- she has converted her ground floor and garden into a child paradise. She is ofsted outstanding and has created a wonderfully nurturing environment for the 10 children who are there with a mix of children from 6month-3 years. She is endlessly inventive (eg she hand made jigsaws for each child), takes educational attainment very seriously (My 2 year old has moved from average to above average in every premise but micro skills which she has got him drawing to get better at), arranges amazing trips out - they go to a petting farm/ Hampton court magic garden/ Kew Gardens every week which is included in the price and is so warm. Plus she is great value- £8/hour for one child £14/hour for two. Our two love being together in the same environment and she takes COVID very seriously. Previously my boy was at Bright Horizons which was good but Pegah is better. Couldn’t recommend her more!

Pegah provides Great Friendly Childcare

My son has been going to Pegah since just over a month and he is really happy there as Pegah involves kids in different activities and play.
She took my son to Hampton court, Kids play areas, parks, David Lloyds for swimming and kids play and walks.
My son loves to play with Pegah and enjoys his day there while we work.
I strongly recommend Pegah as she is a professional childcare provider with good recommendations for kids growth and learning development.

A wonderful childminder

Pegah has looked after both of my children, as babies and my eldest as a toddler. She is incredibly warm, kind and caring. Pegah is also very responsible and professional, putting the welfare and development of our children first.

I have a two years old boy. I know Pegah for two years now. She takes care of my child occasionally. My boys love playing with her. She always has fantastic ideas in planning a day. She is very kind and caring.
