About Me

Hello! I'm Amber, a North London-based Psychodynamic Psychotherapist who also offers ad hoc nannying and babysitting alongside my therapy work.

I have over 10 years' professional experience working with children and families in a variety of settings, including private nannying, schools, specialist SEN education, the NHS and private therapy. I hold two Master's degrees in child development and psychotherapy, giving me a strong understanding of children's emotional, psychological and developmental needs.

Throughout my career I've cared for children from newborns through to teenagers, including twins, multiple siblings and children with additional needs such as Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). My background as a therapist means I'm particularly confident supporting children's emotional wellbeing, helping them build confidence, regulate emotions and feel safe and understood.

Alongside my clinical work, I genuinely enjoy nannying and babysitting. I love getting involved in imaginative play, arts and crafts, reading, music, outdoor activities and creating fun, engaging experiences that encourage learning and development. Families describe me as warm, calm, reliable and organised, and I pride myself on building trusting relationships with both children and parents.

I'm available for ad hoc babysitting, evening babysitting, weekend care and temporary nannying, and I'm always happy to discuss how I can best support your family's needs.
