About Me
I am 34 years old and have been living in Reading for 9 years now.
I am mum to 4 years old twins and have been dedicating my days to taking care of them, but I am now ready to get back to work :)
I speak four languages (English, Arabic, French, and Spanish) and I just love working with kids. I have almost 17 years long experience with nannying, babysitting and tutoring
I have experience in potty training, and have been working towards being a certified sleep consultant.
I do not smoke and I do not drink alcohol, and I consider myself a very responsible person.
I also like to read, watch loads of documentaries and I especially like to experiment with cooking from all over the world.

My Experience
I have been babysitting since I was 15, starting with the neighbours' kids and at a kindergarten.
I have been focusing more on childcare for the last four years, and would be happy to provide references.
I have babysat kids as young as a few months old (night nurse and mummy's help) to teenagers that I tutored as well.
I am very easy-going, love learning about different cultures and lifestyles, and do very well with kids, as I've never had an issue with any of the kids that I worked with.
I am also a very creative person, interested in arts and crafts, cinema (my academic specialty) and music.
My Qualifications
I have been a teacher for 5 years, and a personal tutor for 10 years
I have also been a childcare provider for different developmental stages and have assisted parents with sleep training and potty transitioning.
My Availability
At the moment, I have availability any day and evening of the week including weekends.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (net)
My fees go up on weekends and evenings. They also depend on how many hours I am required to work and the number and age of the children I babysit/nanny/tutor.

Djamila is a pleasant person to have a conversation with. She speaks a lot of languages and has a lot to teach.
I explained a couple of times during our calls/texts the teaching approach that worked well with our children, for example tutor to share content on their screen, show some videos in foreign language, play a quick game or use props to engage children.
She didn't do that even though I reminded her and we ended up stopping the lessons sooner that we wanted as the kids lost interest.
I understand it is difficult with little ones, but paying for private lessons means the teaching style and cirriculum is adjusted/tailored to the student. That wasn't the case for us in regards to the teaching approach.
I think there were some limitations with her home setup as the video feed seemed to be from a mobile phone which she used to point to a laptop to show numbers/letters.
