About Me
We live down in an old farmhouse growing lots of delicious veg for our nearby restaurant Post in Newnham. Outdoors, creativity, nutrition (and laughter!) are all central to our lives down here.
My Requirements
Two children (B8 and G6) - looking for a babysitter* once or twice a month, along with support during the school holidays. Own car is essential.
*We often have friends staying for the weekend with children, so somebody confident in occasionally babysitting 4 children is also useful.
We also have holiday lets (The Three Doves) and guests often request babysitter recommendations - but this is not essential, just worth noting

Kelly was hired as a nanny for our family on a regular, part time basis for over 2 years until Jan 2024.
She primarily looked after our daughter - B - during her pre-school years (1-4) but also often our little boy (now 6) where needed / out of school.
Kelly is absolutely loved as one of the family by all of us, especially B. Kelly is an utter natural with children, as competent with toddler tiredness as with the overexcited energy of older kids. Our two have very different temperaments but Kelly immediately engaged with them both and their different interests, effortlessly and most importantly, genuinely.
She listens to them and respects them whilst being fair (and firm if needed).
Her phone is rarely in sight and her activities are wholesome and well planned (her knowledge of the local area is ridiculously good).
We have always had full confidence in Kelly that the children were in the safest of hands - they don’t even wave goodbye when they jump in her car!
Her experience is extensive, having nannied for many years, worked in pre-school settings, and raising her own family (her own lovely children testament to her and her husband).
As a mother, Kelly understands the challenges of childcare and has never once let us down (through inevitable sicknesses, shuffling plans and overnight stays)
I cannot recommend Kelly more highly :)

Izzy has been a fantastic nanny to us since summer 2020. She is an utter natural with children - competent, lots of fun but calm, and fair - both our children responded well to her direction.
Izzy would take them both off on wonderful outdoor adventures, they’d sow seeds, build camps, whittle fishing rods and come back to bake delicious muffins and crumbles or string together autumn leaf bunting. It felt like our children had their own private forest school!
I had full confidence in Izzy and always felt that the children were in very safe hands. They, in turn, utterly adore her - they would v happily wave goodbye to us to spend a day with her.
