I am an ofsted registered childminder. In park farm .. I have an overall GOOD ofsted grade which I received in January 2025.
I live with my partner and my two sons who are 16years old and 12year old .
I live in a quiet col de sac with parking outside ..
My garden is safe and secure and I have lots of equipment and activities for all ages ..
I have an outside area under cover so we can use the garden in most weathers .
I do take children out on small outings to local woods and parks .
I keep parents updated through out the day with messages and photos.
I use the child's interests to plan activities.

I have been in childcare since 1996 ..
I have experience of working in nurseries as nursery practitioner and management roles..
I have been a childminder since March 2011 ..
I am also a mother to two children ..

Karen has been our childminder since our daughter was 11 months old.
Karen provides a safe, clean and welcoming environment for all the children she cares for. Karen is very welcoming, friendly and always very informative.
Karen is able to provide a whole range of different activities for the children, our daughter especially enjoys the little trips out to the local woods and park.
Our daughter absolutely adores Karen and loves being in her care. Since being in Karen’s care our daughter has grown into a very clever, confident and happy little girl.
It definitely puts you at ease knowing your child is being well looked after and they’re having a great time.
Regular updates and photos are provided throughout the day so you can see what your little one is up to which is great.
We will all miss Karen very much when our daughter goes to school next year.

Karen has only been our childminder for a short time, owing to a change in our circumstances, but in that time my two boys have been really really happy! If things were different in our personal circumstances, we would be staying with Karen. She is friendly, professional, and excellent with the children. They come home very happy, and eager to tell what they've done at her house. I highly recommend Karen as a childminder! Her home is clean, and welcoming, and she has an excellent array of toys to entertain any child. She offers a healthy and filling after school snack for the children. She is in every way a very likable lady, who has made me feel very comfortable knowing she is taking care of my children! I have felt relaxed and confident and I have felt happy to trust my boys to her care. I genuinely feel employing Karen as your childminder will make you feel the same as we have!

Karen was my daughters childminder for almost a year, between the age of 1 and a half to 2. Karen invited me to her home to have a look around and to talk through how she works, she was very welcoming and my daughter felt instantly comfortable with Karen and her eldest son. I was given all the info I needed and felt happy to send ella to Karen even though she had never been away from me. my little one always came home excited and happily telling me all about her day and gave me paintings drawings cards etc on a regular basis. her day book was always in depth and updated for me to read which I enjoyed. I would certainly recommend Karen to anyone looking for childcare locally. ella still mentions Karen now even though she now goes to nursery! fab childminder and lovely lady :) thank you for all you done for me Karen.
