My Experience

I have extensive experience working with children of different ages and personalities, both in mainstream settings and supporting those with additional needs such as autism and ADHD. I’m confident adapting activities and routines to suit each child’s individual strengths and interests, helping them feel secure and understood.

I’ve worked in schools, specialist provisions and as a nanny and respite carer, so I understand the importance of structure, consistency and creating a calm, positive environment at home. I’m familiar with communication tools such as Makaton and supporting sensory needs where needed.

As a nanny, I’ve supported families with day-to-day routines including school runs, meal preparation, homework support and planning engaging activities. I enjoy building strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents, while encouraging independence and confidence.
