About Me
For the past year and a half, I have worked as a self-employed, Ofsted-registered childminder, a role I thoroughly enjoyed. I have also been Ofsted registered as a nanny and am now looking for a nannying role that fits around my family life.
I love supporting children’s learning through play-based experiences, including creating tuff trays, planning engaging activities, exploring nature, and following each child’s individual interests. I believe children learn best when they feel happy, confident, and supported.
I am reliable, caring, and passionate, and I always strive to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children in my care.
My Experience
I have been working within in childcare for nearly 10 years now. And I love it. In-between I have had my own two children and have gone back to families and after maternity leave.
I have worked as a nanny for several families, including live-in, live-out, part-time, short-term, and long-term roles.
I have experience working with children aged 0–24 months, within in two different nurseries.
I have carried out many babysitting roles, including daytime, evening, overnight, and stay-over care.
I have been a registered Ofsted childminder, which I have been for the past year and a half, and I have also been a registered nanny.
I am a mum to a 5 & 2 year old, giving me first-hand parenting experience, and I also regularly care for my three younger siblings under the age of 8.
My Qualifications
Level 3 child care
Level 3 paediatric first aid course
Food hygiene
Clean and up to date DBS
My Availability
I am fairly flexible with days and hours. Ideally, I am looking for school-hour availability, but for the right family, I am happy to be flexible to suit everyone’s needs.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
I am always open to discussing fees!!
This can vary depending on what time and how long. therefore is not set amount.

Lucy minded our son multiple occasions when he was around a year and a half old. She did a great job taking care of him, which was very valuable to us as we could take a few hours break and recharge.

Lucy helped me out when I needed someone to watch my daughter last minute. She was very warm and friendly, and I felt confident leaving my child in Lucy's care.
