Hello everyone. My name is Maddie, a highly experienced professional and mother of one. I consider myself to be nurturing, open-minded and passionate about ensuring every child has a positive start to their early life.
I am a keen and confident cook so cooking for the family is also something I am happy to discuss. I am also an animal lover so happy to attend to dogs, cats and other pets.
My Experience
In my current role I support families and children with Special Educational Needs with home education, support through diagnosis and beyond, running groups in the community and any other support that our families need.
Prior to this role I was on maternity leave after having my son in November 2021. Prior to this I was the headteacher of a 72 place nursery school in Belgravia, having been a teacher there previously. Along with my team I achieved the school's first outstanding Ofsted rating in March 2018. Additionally, I nannied and tutored for children who were attending assessments for the local prep schools.
My professional experience covers children from ages two to seven. As a mother and aunt I am confident with little ones from birth.
My Qualifications
Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development, Portage trained and 15 years of experience working with children and families. DBS on the Update Service, First Aid
My Availability
A maximum of 35 hours a week, any days between Monday and Friday. Open to split roles of childcare, cooking, housework if little one is at a nursery or school for example.
