Let us down

We arranged with Gemma to take our son in the January to start on the September. We had a number of setaling in sessions Cancled but we was ok as she was a “professional”
The Sunday before my partner was due back work after 13 months we got a text cancelling the child care that weeks my partner had to take unpaid leave.

Through the whole experience communcicaton was pore would text canceling then ghost you for days at a time then had the audacity to say chasing her for answers was causing her strees.
We understand she had family problems but the way she was treating us was causing us a lot of stress

I am sorry that you feel your experience was disappointing. However, I feel it is important to provide some context for anyone reading this review.
The cancellation of your childcare was due to an unexpected and serious family situation that required my immediate attention. This was not a decision I made lightly, nor was it something I could reasonably have anticipated. I appreciate that this created difficulties for your family situation.
I also do not agree with the suggestion that I simply failed to communicate. I kept you updated as circumstances changed and was communicating with you while I was dealing with a very stressful situation myself.
I understand that you are entitled to be disappointed, but I believe the review does not fully reflect circumstances surrounding the decision or communication that took place.
I have always taken the care and wellbeing of the children in my setting extremely seriously and have worked hard to provide a professional, safe and caring environment.
I wish you and your family well going forward.
