Hiya!! I’m Miranda!
I am a very experienced child person! - Part time hours / ADHoc basis hours -
I am currently available and can cover some summer holiday hours!!
(I will return to my usual availability is any time on weekends and on weekdays from approx 4:30/5 pm!)
I would love to find a family that is looking for regular long term weekend hours - however I understand weekends and evening can be a more ad hoc basis - with this being said, If you are ever in a sticky situation and need any weekend / evening last minute help - I would be more then happy help out!
I have been working as a nanny/ babysitter on and off for well over 14 years now, I have looked after all ages from newborns and up to teens as a babysitter and a full time / reg part time nanny.
Experience aside, I have a natural rapport with children of all ages (I like to think this is down to my empathy, trusting, energetic and at the same time responsible nature)
I also have supported a few families with children who have learning disabilities. Some with communication difficulties, I was able to draw from my psychology knowledge and experience to use / teach different ways to communicate (for example - Makaton - similar to sign language)
Reason for limited availability:
I am working as a Senior Assistant Psychologist within the NHS, my 'usual' hours are Mon-Fri (8-4).
I Hold a UK full driving license.
I have completed 1 year of a Masters degree in Nursing - and as such I am qualified in emergency / care qualifications - e.g. first aid, learning basic life support (inc. paediatric) & other relevant NHS qualifications.
I am happy to cook, clean, evening routine , bath and bed time or whatever is required!
Also, I’m fully vaccinated- including boosters (4 vaccinations off the top of my head- I have lost track!!)
I have also been tutoring for the past 2 years, this has mainly been in psychology. But during my many years of child care I have definitely put my tutoring hat on, supporting in any way I could, for example helping with home work. Having Dyslexia and ADHD myself has definitely been a very useful tool when tutoring, I have learnt, through my own experience, hundreds of ways of learning. I like to take a very supporting and engaging approach, essentially, making learning fun!!?
My Experience
I have been working with children for around 14 years now - from new born to teens - in many different capacities: nannying, babysitting, hospital environments - as a play specialist, and with children and younger adults with learning disabilities.

I drive and have my own car.

I graduated university with a psychology degree.

She never showed up, she contacted me and apologised for twice of the times she didn't come, but as for 3rd time, she never bothered showing up again, she didn't bother to inform me for not showing up. She keeps lying, please don't trust her, she doesn't want a job, she will waste your time.

Hi Intisam,
I have just seen your review. Unfortunately I found out that my mother had cancer, I had to return home to take care of my little brother. As you can imagine it has been quite upsetting, this being said I was quite distracted and was not looking at my phone.
I do apologise, I can see how this does not look good.
