About Me
I’m a caring, reliable and energetic individual with a genuine passion for supporting families and helping children thrive. I have extensive experience working with children aged 4–18 as a former Head Cheer Coach, where I led, mentored and supported young people to build confidence, develop new skills and have fun. I also have plenty of babysitting experience with children from birth onwards.
Outside of work, I love travelling, getting creative, crafting and keeping active, and I enjoy bringing these interests into activities with children to encourage their imagination, confidence and curiosity. I’m currently looking for part-time childcare opportunities and would love to support families by providing a safe, caring and fun environment for their little ones.
My Experience
I have a wealth of experience supporting children and families in a variety of settings, including schools, nurseries, sports programmes and private family care. My professional background includes teaching dance, cheerleading and gymnastics, as well as working as a Head Coach, where I supported children’s development, confidence and wellbeing. I also have experience working with children with additional needs (SEN) and understand the importance of adapting my approach to suit each child’s individual needs.
I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Early Years, which included practical placements in preschools, schools and nurseries, giving me hands-on experience supporting children at different stages of their development. I’m familiar with the primary school curriculum and happy to help with homework, reading, spelling and other learning activities.
Alongside childcare, I’m also happy to help with household tasks to make everyday family life that little bit easier. I’m organised, practical and happy to lend a hand wherever needed, whether that’s helping to keep things tidy, supporting children with their learning or creating a positive, caring environment for the whole family.
My Qualifications
Level 3 childcare and early years diploma, paediatric first aid qualification, level 3 cheerleading coaching, safeguarding adults and children
My Availability
My availability is flexible and can be discussed to suit your family’s needs. I’m currently looking for part-time opportunities and am happy to discuss days, hours and regular or occasional bookings. Please feel free to get in touch and we can work out what works best for everyone! ??
