I’m an experienced, warm and caring nanny based in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. I genuinely love working with children and enjoy building positive, trusting relationships with both children and parents.
I’m enthusiastic, creative, outgoing and an excellent communicator. I love being outdoors and staying active, as well as arts and crafts, reading and baking. I’m a non-smoker, an animal lover and well travelled.
I’m passionate about creating a happy, fun and supportive environment where children feel safe, confident and encouraged to learn and explore. I would also be happy to relocate for the right family and long-term opportunity.
My Experience
I have over 13 years’ experience working with children in a variety of childcare and educational settings, including over five years’ experience as a nanny.
I genuinely love being a nanny and find it incredibly rewarding to build a close, trusting relationship with children and become a valued part of their family. I enjoy creating fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities, supporting children’s development, organising outings, helping with routines and homework, preparing meals and working closely with parents.
I have also worked as an Early Years Practitioner, Teaching Assistant, sports coach and swimming teacher, giving me a broad range of childcare and educational experience. I am now looking forward to finding another family where I can build a long-term relationship and provide caring, reliable and nurturing support.
My Qualifications
• Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education
• Paediatric First Aid
• Sports Coaching qualification
• Qualified Swimming Teacher
• Valid DBS on the Update Service
• Excellent checkable references
My Availability
I am available for weekday, weekend, overnight and ad hoc childcare.
I am currently working with local families on an ad hoc basis and am looking for a long-term position with the right family. I would also consider relocating for the right opportunity, including a live-in role.
Minimum booking: 3 hours.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £22.00 per hour
- Nannying from £22.00 per hour (gross)
My fees reflect my years of professional childcare experience and qualifications.
I am not Ofsted registered and therefore do not accept Tax-Free Childcare payments.

Alex is a wonderful nanny. She has been with our daughter for the past nine months, since our daughter was 1.5. She is creative, setting up many games. Yesterday, our daughter was the Stuffed Animal Veterinarian; the day before she was a Travel Agent and Suitcase Specialist. There's plenty of water play, play-dough, going to the park, library, playground. Our daughter is always excited to be with her, and is always engaged and happy.
Alex is caring, offering emotional support and stability; but also a good educator. She manages our daughter's schedule (feeding, sleeping, playing, potty) while fostering her independence with initiatives teaching her to get dressed and use the potty. We are impressed with how much English our (trilingual) daughter now speaks, due to her interaction with Alex.
We're very sad to give Alex up, as we're moving. We haven't broken it to our daughter yet.

Alex joined us as our sons nanny when he turned 1 and has been with us for some months since then. From the get go she has been a caring, considerate nanny who’s reliable and transparent. My son is so excited when we tell him she’s about to arrive and even asks for Alex when she’s not there. Alex always prepares fun activities for him and is completely devoted during her time with us. She’s so warm and loving towards my son. Also she’s fantastic company and so flexible to my family’s situation. We are so grateful to her and are so glad we have her as our son’s nanny - she’s like a member of our family now. Thank you Alex!
