Hello everyone!
Thank you so much for your interest on my profile!
My name is Marilia, I’m 31 years old, currently living in N19 and currently building my profile as a nanny. In the end of February, I’ll hold a complete paediatric first AID certificate, enhanced DBS, paediatric nutrition certificate and I’ll be Ofsted registered. I can’t wait to complete this check list! Also, in a close future, I’ll pursue my passion - a bachelor’s degree in psychology, with focus in early years education and behaviour. I do want to develop my abilities in the infant world.
I have worked with babies, toddlers and kids for 7 years – as a nanny, childminder, teacher and tutor of English as a second language. In London, I worked as a nanny of 2 amazing children – a 4 years old boy and a 7 years old girl. I can’t say how much I have learnt with them, working with British kids for the first time. By the way, I’m from Brazil - I’m half Brazilian and half Italian. Yes, you have a cuddler here! After this great experience, I have worked at a nursery and at a after school club – nap time, basic babies’ and toddlers’ care, clearing rooms, preparing activities, classes, preparing and serving meals and picking them from school. At that time, I completed an online course about early years development and education, and I held the First AID Paediatric certificate and the DBS check.
On my other side, I hold a bachelor’s degree in international relations, Cambridge University CELTA certificate – English as a second language teaching -, and 2 years of experience as a Paralegal. In addition to that, I speak native Portuguese, fluent English, Spanish, and have been in 5 continents.
I have decided to pause the Legal career to go back to my real passion – the educational world. It will be a pleasure to take care of your family!
