My Summary
About Me
About Me
Hello! I am a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Early Years and KS1 teacher with extensive childcare and babysitting experience. I am also a proud mum to a 1-year-old, so I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident that their child is safe, happy and well cared for.
Having recently relocated from London to Exeter, I am now seeking local babysitting and childcare opportunities. I have a warm, patient manner and provide a nurturing environment built on presence, empathy and consistency.
I support children with Phonics, Literacy, Maths and Understanding of the World, while encouraging independence and hands-on learning through meaningful play. I am energetic and creative, and love planning engaging activities including arts and crafts, yoga, dance and outdoor play to support physical development.
Music is also a big part of my approach — I enjoy singing nursery rhymes and using children’s instruments to make learning fun and interactive.
I value open communication with parents and aim to provide reliable, high-quality care tailored to each child’s needs.
My Experience
I am an energetic, reliable and caring childcare professional with a strong passion for supporting children’s early development. I began my teaching journey in the UK in 2019 in London, working as a supply teacher across various primary year groups. This gave me valuable experience in different classroom settings and helped me become adaptable, confident and organised.
I then moved into permanent roles as a Year 1–2 teacher, as well as Nursery and Reception teacher, where I built strong relationships with children and families and created engaging, nurturing learning environments.
Alongside teaching, I have several years of babysitting experience. I have supported young children with both their daily routines and their development through play. I particularly enjoyed taking a toddler on outings to museums, art galleries, play centres and parks, helping her learn through real-life experiences and exploration.
My favourite activities with children include arts and crafts, storytelling and reading, as these encourage creativity, imagination and language development. I always aim to create a warm, safe and stimulating environment where children feel happy, secure and confident to grow.
