My Experience

I am a qualified teacher, graduated from the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology at the University of Athens, Greece.
My participation in a research project at the University of Crete gave me the tools to further enhance my education skills. During that project, I worked with preschool children focusing on language and cognitive tests, examining the possible impacts on their expression of communication in the first years of primary school.
In Greece, I worked as a primary school teacher. During my studies and then as a graduate, I offered private tutoring to students of primary and high school. I also worked as a teacher-supervisor at the Children's Summer Camp. My responsibilities were to organise the children's wellbeing and safeguarding, as well as creative and physical activities. In addition, I have worked as a teacher for the volunteering organisation "Pathways of Life", which supports socially excluded children and their families. I have attended several seminars on pedagogy, psychology and SEN.
Since 2018, I have been working in OUTSTANDING nursery schools in London. In addition, I work as a Greek tutor offering Greek lessons to children and adults.

I'm a holder of QTS, DBS, Safeguarding Lead and First Aid Certificate. I am a communicative, responsible and consistent person — a life-long learner who enjoys meeting new people and working in a team towards a common goal. My goal is to continuously improve my students' performance as well as provide them with sufficient stimuli to grow their personalities and to be confident in their school and social life.
